Junker CB360 Fuel Tank

I recently started using evaporust. I used to do the nuts and bolts way. Just did a XS650 gas tank that had a lot of surface rust inside. I removed the petcock and made some block off plates with cork gaskets. The tank got filled and a let it sit for 2 days, emptied it and rinsed it out. I like that the evaporust is not toxic and is reusable. It looked like new on the inside.

I absolutely get the challenge of saving the tank, but I am not sure if the cost of materials vs used tank off eBay is the better solution.

Yeah you're probably right on that. But I'm not sure that I'm going to get something saveable from eBay. I looked at some aftermarket tanks and I would like to have something a little larger anyway so we could do longer trips.Thanks for your input and we probably will be doing an update on the tank.
