I made the mistake of diving head first into trying to make junk journals, so I didn't like what I made, it never occurred to me to practice on a smaller scale first, I'm so glad I found these instructions so I can give it another go. Thanks for making these videos!!.❤🥰👍

Hi Donna, this made so much more sense to me now knowing how the cover is made. I wondered whether people just used books for their cover, so it was good to see that cereal boxes or cardboard could be used. Such a great tutorial video. TFS. Happy day from the West

Gday Aussie Pom, this is only one way you can make a cover, I developed this unique design because it's easier than making an actual hinge. This is a great way to practice and there's no reason why this can't be used ongoing if you like it enough. I think cereal boxes make great chip board and use them a lot cheers Donna

!! hi Gina !! no probs it's a wonderful series. The coupon was always available it was not what was broken, it was the address that was broken in the software. It was asking for an address for a digi download. The couple of people that had issues with this were captured by the software, which was fixed and issued the coupon within 30 minutes of me being notified it was broken. What else can I use if I don't have any masking paper? Can I use any other glue? I live in Michigan USA.

Hello Tanya, you can use any paper you want on the cover, i would suggest something about a medium weight not too heavy. If you have any scrapbook 12x12 papers that type of thing or use regular copy paper, you know a letter size printable if you have access to any. Yes you can use any glue that you have, I use the fabric glue because its less like to wrinkle the paper because water base glue like pva etc. tends to leave wrinkles. But if any wrinkles or anything about the cover happens that you don't like cover it with embellishments it all can be fixed.
