On them headliner clips if you don't have the tool and can get a piece of string looped around it and pull straight down worked for me pretty good

Great interior score there! I like using a u-shaped panel puller tool which grabs those plastic push tabs by 75% preventing it from breaking.

Glad you chose peace man and if I see someone working on a car in the junkyard I usually wait or ask if I can get some stuff too so I’m not in their way. It’s just being thoughtful of being there first. I don’t know not everyone thinks the same way. Never know if he had something on him as well so good thing you did what you did. People are crazy now and days but be safe man and I enjoy all the uploads. I think it’s a great score and a deal for all those interior parts cause you could sell all those for more than that I would think.

dude i’m stoked for your build. just subbed. i recently got a 95 hatch in even worse condition than the one you found in the yard. motor is almost back together (d15b7) interior of mine is gutted from mold. i got car for $50 aside from all the transportation costs. I've been down this route. I bought a black DC Integra that had horrible ripped up/stained tan interior and went to the Junkyard and found my buddies old DC Teg there with full blk mint interior. I spent a nice warm afternoon stripping that car down to absolutely nothing. I even took the deck lid, JDM fenders, hood,bumpers, gas door,dash, all the interior, BC coilovers,Skunk 2 LCA,full sunroof assembly. I think I paid around $650 for everything but this was before inflation hit... Nice weather makes it all worth it...

Just get a carpet from a coupe they fit perfectly, I do it all the time. Hatchbacks are hard to come by so Coupes will do, also the coupe headliner plugs are the same.

Coupe and hatch carpets are not the same. I learned this the hard way. Coupe is slightly longer then hatch carpet. I run a coupe oem carpet in my hatch

@Dawson Latter I don't have issues, the only thing u have to do is remove the back bottom seats and stretch the carpet a little more and make new holes for the carpet clips, other then that done it like 5 times and looks great.

You might not have to pull the windshield to do the moldings. Check to see if you can slide the top portion across from one corner. If the windshield is in the right spot, the side moldings will just snap into place.

Dana, I just checked the junkyard near me, one of the only pick n pulls left in my state. Everytime I go they never have anything lower than 96 for honda. I've needed the little push button piece that goes to the trip meter reset for about 7 months now. I managed to find a complete 92 sedan slated to be crushed without being picked at inside a building. Nobody was in there, so I hopped in and grabbed it real quick and left like a thief in the night. I needed a few things but didn't want to get caught in there. Point being, I think at least in MA., there is an effort to get rid of the older cars. I get the older cars are less prevelant these days. But there are still a lot of EF, EG, and EKs I see driving around. I'm lucky I got my hatch about 98% complete and clean. But I still need small things too like this one will need. And they are really hard to come by these days. Even Honda-tech is pretty much dead. Can't wait to see how this comes out. Really enjoy all of your content. 👍👍
