For the one with the planer. I’d have had the planer with the exhaust port facing down and lose the 90 degree pipe sections, to prevent potential pipe blockages and then feed work piece from the other end of the of the table.

Since you have a table saw, you could make a sled to cut a straight edge for the table saw with less effort. Works exactly like the planer jig you made, but works on the table saw and only requires building the sled, rather than also building the track and a mechanism to hold the planer. Nevertheless, this is good stuff!

Please ensure you use plastic jars, My late father did something simular back in the 60s using glass jars. you dont get a second chance when it comes off the work bench and hits the concrette floor. glass everywhere.

9:45 There's absolutely no difference in dust collection after all that work, material and hardware. It's more of a nuisance than a helpful accessory

He also didn't show turning the power on to the tablesaw, so was the power really on??? Was it really cutting??? Did you ever consider that he might want it to be angled and that is why he didn't show a square??? We can all come up with really good dumb questions just to get attention.

A wood clamp? Why not just get chains and tighten the chain around the object?

That was a lot of unnecessary work and waste of wood to make those. Especially for the dowel rod maker.
