How heartbreaking! May he rest in peace. May you find strength and moments of peace as you carry on. My guy died suddenly in front of me last year. It’s so hard but you got this!

Every time I listen to this I can't help but cry.... Fucking Mumford man. They get me sometimes... Habibi gets me sometimes... but it's only a good memories within a bad time for me now. She'll never be anything more than that to me...and it hurts so much to know that now... but I'll be strong this time when I wasn't before.

I remember for the longest time thinking the first part of the chorus saying “But no flame lasts forever” instead of it really saying “But no flame burns forever.” I suppose in my mind that it made more sense that way because flame can get described as a lover.
