People saying she’s weird, but all I’m seeing is how most normal (smart and funny, but normal) people would act if they were on a talkshow. We’re so used to the _abnormal_, the unrealistically quick wit and acted out dialogue, that we think this is weird. Aubrey is not weird. She is just real.

actually she said "no, I'm a total people pleaser and it's something I'm dealing with in therapy" which means that she has a high degree of agreeableness and is likely undergoing assertiveness training. She has a problem with buying into the whole "im a star" persona, which she views as fake and makes her anxious, so to combat that she stays present in the moment and uses humor so as to not take herself so seriously. Which is a recipe for being a more authentic human being

Personally seeing the wheels turn in her head as she contemplated how far she'd take that cat ears prop was deep ! , Like the pause at the water dish like maybe he was gonna wear it for putting it down like that in front of her. Borderline scary... but then she went with it ,,, perhaps scarier. She does plenty of those moments like, I could should stab you for that stupidness you just spewed but, naw I'm gonna say some off the wall shit and see how you react. Its actually not that revolutionary for plenty of us that live like that , constant sarcasm at the insanity presented .. just roll with it. She does it to the extreme, even she admits it is because she's un comfortable . Makes sense ..

I don’t find her odd one bit. Just unrehearsed and relatively genuine. Actually I’ve had a gigantic crush on her when Parks first season premiered and literally the only reason I chose to watch it.. She’s my kind of an ideal woman. She’s a complete package. Always thought she was really angelic and totally opposite of dark or dangerous. A heartbreaker? I can see that but unintentionally . If she’s a demon then please send me to hell. Didn’t she have a major stroke in her early twenties and had to relearn how to talk??

She's just so amazing as a person, utterly charming, and you can clearly just tell she's just being herself in every situation..... is lovely to watch As a 40something year old chef, who always tries to tell any younger chefs "I have no idea what I'm doing!, but I know more than you..... is why I here!" it's a beautiful thing..... a little bit of ego is a good thing, but a healthy dose of self doubt is the best thing you can have and go everyday questioning yourself first!, and not think you're hot sh*t, it makes the world a better place She's such a cool person...... would make a great chef

12:17 Are people actually reading the paper interviews on screen? She's saying that her funny weird behaviour in talk shows is a defence mechanism to ease off the social anxiety and expectations of being a likeable person, she isn't "being herself" 5:13 it's a characterized reaction to the environment she's being put in
