People saying she’s weird, but all I’m seeing is how most normal (smart and funny, but normal) people would act if they were on a talkshow. We’re so used to the _abnormal_, the unrealistically quick wit and acted out dialogue, that we think this is weird. Aubrey is not weird. She is just real.

actually she said "no, I'm a total people pleaser and it's something I'm dealing with in therapy" which means that she has a high degree of agreeableness and is likely undergoing assertiveness training. She has a problem with buying into the whole "im a star" persona, which she views as fake and makes her anxious, so to combat that she stays present in the moment and uses humor so as to not take herself so seriously. Which is a recipe for being a more authentic human being

I never heard of her before but after watching this clip I'm going to have watch her movies and tv shows. Very funny person. Most of her humor appears to be real. Most actors are always acting. Even if something embarrassing happens to them during an interview they always stay in character and make it work. What you see on these talk shows is her. It is what you would look like if a talk show host brought you on stage from the audience and started asking questions. You would fumble and mumble and say dumb things. I like her because she is not fake.

I don’t find her odd one bit. Just unrehearsed and relatively genuine. Actually I’ve had a gigantic crush on her when Parks first season premiered and literally the only reason I chose to watch it.. She’s my kind of an ideal woman. She’s a complete package. Always thought she was really angelic and totally opposite of dark or dangerous. A heartbreaker? I can see that but unintentionally . If she’s a demon then please send me to hell. Didn’t she have a major stroke in her early twenties and had to relearn how to talk??
