To those who don't know, Perish Song gives all Pokemon on the field a 3 turn countdown until their HP drops to 0. But since Celebi had no moves & was the only Pokemon in the creepypasta writer's party, it was a forced blackout.

I think there’s a positive side to the lesson Gold is trying to teach BF, honestly, the context makes me realize BF is basically looking at what a dark reflection of himself could be, (dawned on me with the whole backward hat thing they got going on), one that never moved on from their end because he felt that he didn’t deserve that end, that he was too good for it. Gold is basically boasting about his achievements and wallowed so much in despair over all he’s done that it made himself a hollow shell devoid of feelings. Sure, there is an end to everyone’s story, but that’s not something to be sad about, it’s not something to dread or despair over, the end is just a part of the story. Gold, in a way, is showing the lesson of not living your life to be in the spotlight, but to make your life worth living for yourself and those around you, regardless of who comes before and after you, enjoy the present, don’t dread the future, and don’t linger on the past, or you’ll end up like this version of Gold. (Edit: Why is everyone so quick to say I’m wrong on every level yeesh.)

You know this is actually one of the most fitting lyric adaptations of Monochrome that I have seen. Just the sheer nihilistic attitude that Gold gives off is just unnerving...also the fact that he never kills you even if you fail and goes back into the darkness means that this entire song was just his way of letting BF know that he was fighting the inevitable but when you beat him he has given you his warning and goes back into the darkness to return to his endless void. Typhlosion survives the cold weather cause he's a fire type, but he dies when fighting a seemingly hallucination of Red. Here's the main beef of the creepypasta. The original story of Lost Silver was recorded and narrated by a Pokemon fan who claims he bought a used copy of the game at GameStop for a bargain price. But once he loaded the game onto his Game Boy, he immediately noticed that the saved game left behind by the cart’s previous owner was highly unusual. Whoever had owned the game simply named their trainer “…”, had maxed out their PokeDex with all 251 entries (including legendary Pokemon like Celebi and Mew), and had also maxed out their money and levels. But most unsettling was the active party that the game’s previous owner had left behind. It contained five Unown (alien Pokemon with letter-shaped bodies that can spell out messages) and a Cyndaquill. According to the teller of the tale, the Unown spelled out “LEAVE,” and the Cyndaquill was named “HURRY.” The narrator talks about finding himself trapped in a silent, still version of Pokemon Gold/Silver’s Bellsprout Tower, and how he used “Flash” to illuminate a dark area, only to have the room bathed in a menacing red glow. Other events include the utter death of the Cyndaquill (as opposed to the usual “faint”), the Unown spelling out messages like “DYING” and “NO MORE,” and a ghostly battle with the trainer from Pokemon Red/Blue, which ends with Celebii and a tormented-looking Pikachu using Perish Song and Destiny Bond to finish each other off simultaneously. At the story’s conclusion, the trainer named “…” becomes a ghost and is trapped forever amongst several Pokémon graves. Well, this was a very good lyric video, and very much love the tiny bits of lore placed into this and I was able to put some things together so from what I can tell Gold/Ethan was most likely Jumped by Petrel and Archer and obviously lost which ended with Petrel and Archer both using their Pokemon to dismember Gold/Ethan before taking his eyes and breaking jaw and well stretching the muscle down to his chest. Also, I am certain the two pokemon used to pretty much murder Gold/Ethan were Houndoom, (Archer's Pokemon) and Raticate, (Petrel's Pokemon).
