If I'm being correct here and not overthinking it, Takaya also makes a reference to the "I am the Shadow, the true self" line and eludes to the idea of humans having Shadow forms.

That is most certainly a P4 reference because Takaya was talking about how people who had a forceful awakening were more commonly killed by their personas instead of shadows just before he says that

When you roam the roam in P3P, you can see a TV where Junpei mention it will be weird if shadows appear from there (male route at least) I hope in the P4 remake, we can at least have 2 to 3 days to roam the P3 world and just stop at the Iwatodai dorm to say... It's a normal building but something feels like an important event happened here
