Jupiter-Uranus Conjunctions in History, Part 2

A followup discussion to talk about some additional examples of what Jupiter-Uranus conjunctions have coincided with in history, with astrologers Chris Brennan and Patrick Watson.
This is a followup episode that is meant to act as a supplement to the previous episode with Richard Tarnas where we talked about the historical research he did on Jupiter-Uranus conjunctions, which was presented in his book Cosmos and Psyche.
In this episode we dive deeper into some of those examples and look at the charts associated with the events, but also add some new examples from ancient and modern times that Chris and Patrick discovered in their research into this cycle.

To add to your list of examples, the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Cancer of 1954-55 coicided with the start of the Algerian War of Independence. The one in 1858 in Taurus with the Indian revolt against the British.

I am currently doing extensive research on South Africa , since Jan Van Riebeeck landed the shores 5 April 1652 to date and the Astrological impact, I call it " my own project hindsight" ... Wowww!!! What a complete and conscientious presentation you so generously share with us. Thank you 🙏🏻 I was born on July 27, 1969 just after the moon landing, with the triple conjunction and with Jupiter (1degree) and Uranus (0degree) in Libra. I just registered for a course called ‘Disruptive Thought’, quite Uranian right?! I live in Mexico where an oppressive and authoritarian regime is in power and the words/slogan used by the opposing candidate and coalition are “We deserve more” (Jupiter) and “Wake up!” (Uranus). Some have even called the movement “the Mexican spring”.

It was not originally my intention to share my comment under this comment…but as I was scrolling through the comments….it seems like an appropriate place to post it: As noted in the recent Tarnas interview, I've been finding myself saying / feeling "WoW!" at various circumstances / observations…A LOT for a couple of days before the JU / UR conjunction .. and several times since then. Including right now as I'm listening to Patrick's description of the Babylonian goal years...specifically the comments at about minute 24:40, leading up to and including "After two Jupiter goal years have passed... you get a Neptune return". When I heard that...I experienced a sort of far-out 'fractal' thing, but grokking it in different way than the typical intellectual /cognitive level... more of a 'knowing' or 'beholding' ? ... all these planetary cycles being like a giant cosmic fractal…and me part of it, too… with my role in perceiving / experiencing it! I'm not articulating this very well...l but it was a pretty groovy experience...and another WoW! moment. Thank you, Patrick! Did anyone else experience hearing this info...like that? God I LOVE this podcast! And esp these two guys together! 🥰🤩😘

So fascinating. Not sure when you recorded this but the parrallel of the Lend Lease Bill is even more striking with the passing of the US aid package this week ( 21/22 April) to Ukraine (amongst other countries), which was a breakthrough in getting it passed (very Jupiter-Uranus).

We recorded this on April 17, and then that bill was passed three days later on April 20, which was the day of the exact conjunction! So it ended up being an incredibly striking manifestation of exactly what we were talking about.

this Jupiter Uranus conjunction to me seems like a combination of the one in the 40s like you said with the lend lease program and America sending aid to a European country against invaders, but also reminds me of the conjunction in the late 60s where there were mass protests against the Vietnam war especially on college campuses which we see now regarding America sending weapons and money to Israel In their ongoing retaliatory genocide

Why is 12pm commonly used if the time is unknown? I was told that using sunrise and whole sign houses yields a valid substitute chart for everyone born on that day although I've never actually tested it in out practice...

The moon moves approximately, on average, 13 degrees every day. With a noon chart, the position of the moon will be the mean. I like using the noon chart, because at a glance I can tell if the moon is pretty solidly in a sign. Between 6 1/2 degrees and 23 1/2 degrees, with a noon chart, it's pretty solidly in the sign. I don't know why others use a noon chart, though.

@46:20 talking about midheavens I'm drawn to midheavens right now during this conjunction& I'm not exactly sure *why but I'm just noticing this awareness & I'd love to follow it but it's very blurry for me still. Maybe as simple as wanting to find my purpose in life during this transformative Time.rewind to FDR I like the year 1941. I study the people who came from this year. You'd be pleasantly surprised FDR is a Virgo rising. I call that bob dylan/Till generation the "virgos" b/c they did so very much for us & they did it as children & women. What is history anywaysbut a small glimpse into the path of the passed. Flawed techniques here to teach us about reality. We all hold the key to the future. I love coming here while i clean house and drive around my oil town. I love hearing these alpha men & women, speak the knowledge of the numbers. The moon recently stayed the night with pluto & iDecided 5minths of fb was enough for me. Betas. Thetas. Omegas (me) I'm going blissfully into my 38th year capturing whatever mercury wants me to see. He really likes you. I'm just a vessel. My Midheaven says I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. I have no Taurus placements but I'm so drawn to her the Earth sign. Fixed. Everything I'm not.
