Another thing about the nutritional labels (and not just for cereal), food companies don't have to report anything under half a gram, that's also why they keep a small serving size to artificially make their salt or fat content look low. The most obvious example is tic-tac, basically a sugar pill with some mint extract but since each is .49g they get to list it as 0% daily sugar.

Fat is healthy to eat
@XperimentorEES7 ай бұрын
@@Charles.Wright Indeed that's part of why a marbled burger is better than a pure one! But it wasn't so long ago they tried to blanket blame all vaguely fatty foods for the obesity epidemic, and there was a noticeable surge in 'lowfat' & 'fatfree' alternatives; when it was specifically the artificial transfat that was the problem, besides peoples' lack of self control regarding moderation of course. I'm no dietician by any means, however just trying to enlighten some people that there's subtle business practices out there explicitly to protect the company not the consumers.

The not eating breakfast talk is so real. That was huge for me when I first started taking my daily calorie intake more seriously. I found it much more satisfying to eat two decently sized 700-800 calorie meals a day instead of three kinda meh 500-600 calorie meals. Plus, like your were saying, most of the quick easy breakfast food is going to set you off on the wrong foot anyways.

Bruh ain't no way, if I don't have breakfast I'm ravishing by like 9:00 am, and I can barely focus because of how hungry I am. If you want something cheap and quick, 2-3 eggs with bread, cheese and something quick to make like ham, bacon or sausage if you want + some fruit is great. On topic, I'm honestly amazed at how much you can advance by just yoloing and going forward, when I tried that a medusa head or something always killed me lol

@axelblz88768 ай бұрын
@@svan81 wheter that's light or not depends on your weight, general diet and physical activity. I have breakfast arround 7 and I'm hungry again by like 11, so it doesn't seem "the opposite of a light breakfast" to me lol. @@axelblz8876 I run marathons 2-3 times a year. Light breakfast for me is an English muffin with honey and peanut butter. I am just conscious of how many calories I eat out of habit and because it's hard to digest too many calories before a cardio based workout unless you wait for hours.
@axelblz88768 ай бұрын
@@svan81 ahh yeah, i'd imagine gaining weight is really detrimental when you do a lot of long steady state cardio, specially when you have a competition every 4 months Edit: also when I was doing martial arts, preparing for tests or competitions, the best food I could have before training was a medium bowl of chicken soup with rice and lots of veggies, 1 hour after eating I felt great, we trained for around 3 hours and I nevel felt hungry or that I had problems with digestion, I don't know if you've tried that but soups (chicken or fish, not pork or beef lmao) are a great food if you want something easy on the stomach

Amazing how the world changes. when I was 4 years old it took me a whole week to beat this game one summer. That was like 5 hours a day minimum. That same summer I finished megaman 2 as well. Side note, the best way to enjoy cereal and still maintain a decent amount of health? Get all bran buds and do half a cup, then half a cup of any cereal you like. Only use skim or 1% milk of course. That way you get 80 % of your daily fibre in one shot and still get some tasty cereal. Helped me to drop 80 lbs. You really understand how you are supposed to poop after a week of getting proper fibre intake.

3:50 You're not really SUPPOSED to eat right after waking up anyways. You're body isn't craving food and caffeine after waking up, you just slept 5-10 hours and didn't drink a drop of water. You know, that substance that over 75% of your body is made up of? What do you THINK it needs MOST? For the last decade or so I don't even eat until like 6 or so hours after I get up. But I drink plenty of water between then. Energy levels are like they were in my 20s at 42. So yeah, screw breakfast entirely just like you said at 9:05. Oh and awesome run too. haha

Death’s level and level of boss were a shock to a 7yo me seeing the Grim Reaper…not the least of it taking me like 5 hours to get past that stupid hallway AND beat Death. The Dracula stage wasn’t as hard bc I realized in the Dracula 2 fight, holy water freezes him. We didn’t have terms like “stun locked,” so I didn’t know it worked on everything that way. I thought it was the only way you could beat Dracula 2 lol. I know that’s not true but it could work then bc most of the 7-10yo’s in your vicinity had never even gotten that far. In reality, we were unlocking secrets that were built into the game in our minds. For tormenting me more than almost any game ever (I was only 7 when I got it - and I had still never beaten Ghosts & Goblins. Live NES in the 80’s was hard! Love em all but Death’s is an all timer for me (and now more fun to do with the cross instead of the holy water. Harder but not by a lot).
