Tip: if you do not like that jupyter lab does not complete (parenthesis, square brackets, curly braces, quotes) then you can do (Settings -> Auto Close Brackets)

That was a perfect intro in Jupyter lab. I have used Jupyter lab and I never knew these features existed. Pretty good features you have shown us. Gonna use these goody features that I am going to enjoy. I did have Python3, R, and Julia, and it worked really good as it should be when run, but better in Jupyter Lab/Notebook.

How would it work if you make an environment (virtualenv) and open jupyter lab from the env folder? Can jupyter lab recognize the installed packages in the env or do they need to be installed globally?

Do you know how to hide code in Jupiter Notebook or markdown file so that the exported HTML doesn’t have code
@oguzhantopaloglu94422 жыл бұрын
I'm not a python programmer but even that markdown stuff was interesting!
@lawrencedoliveiro91042 жыл бұрын
You can have markdown cells interspersed with code ones in a notebook.
@springsm5545 Жыл бұрын
@@lawrencedoliveiro9104 I like doing that, and adding in some HTML items, like , , , , and especially, just to kind of give context to my code that is a little more elegant than an inline comment.

And don’t forget, the Notebook API lets you dynamically generate rich output from Python code.

Hmm - nice tutorial but Jupyter Lab is like "let fork notebooks and add a heap of random cuteness - everyone wants to execute Python in Markdown these days". Its like the time I installed Twitter on my toothbrush...
