The dial on the front of the frother is a temp control. Middle is neutral. As you leave upwards it is frothing and getting cooler. As you go down its steaming and getting cooler. If you want steamed milk very hot, start at neutral and turn downward just a bit. You get VERY hot milk. Same way if you go up. The position you used is the lowest temp.

Use the dial to increase the temperature.

You don't need a constrictor, it has one built in, just turn the handle only slightly from the horizontal position.

People! Do we have any aftermarket compatible parts, please? As for me it`s overpriced (~$150), but nothing unique actually- 2 pipes and easy valve... My machine is S9. But I guess all of them can be cross compatible
