REVIEW of the Jura Coffee Machine Impressa F50 Classic espresso machine. I was progressing through the review when my coffee machine decided that it needed to Descale. The Jura Impressa F50 Classic Descaling process only happens every 6 months and you don't get a warning that it's about to happen. If your movable coffee pipes get block try unblocking with a small pipe cleaner to unblock..... it maybe good to decalcify.... even if not requested.... adjust the hardness to the highest level to force it then readjust to the normal level.

Sorry wrote wrong process, it is for the big tablets which is the descaling and not the decalcifying process which the filter should be removed. thank you

Hi there, I follow the steps in the instruction manual. The filter is not mentioned.

I don't know what went wrong, but in my case, the machine didn't give further instructions. It just kept saying "decalcify ready." What I did was turn it off, remove the frother, turn it on, and press rinse. It stopped there, and no matter how many times I pressed rinse, there were no further instructions for emptying the tray, let alone the decalcifying process. Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

@@audriveesa I haven’t but just call Jura. I think they would be able to help. I think they also repair as well. But it’s not inexpensive of course.,

My Jura Impressa F50 did not let me proceed to rescaling unless filter was removed. I watched your video over and over and got the reading filter yes and finally I had to enter filter no to proceed. I don’t think that the filter should be in the solution of the 3 tablets especially that is harmful. Thanks

Can anybody help me out - I took filter out, I turn off the machine, keep maintainace button - but my coffe machine says ‘open tab, chg filter’. I have tried many times but cannot run descaling process.

Sorry I'm not sure. Just follow exactly what it says. If it say open tap? not open tab. So open the tap till it stops coming up on the machine. You have to do it a few times.

Hello again, I just found the issue, I could not run the descaling since my filter was on ‘YES’ possibility. It was not quite obvious for me since just got this machine. When you go to P settings then Filter then choose No option then you can do it. Turn off machine then press ringing button then empty tray message pops up and you are all set! Thank again and enjoy your coffee!
