I enjoy seeing players participating in other activities as they have spent much of their lives doing just hockey. I don't expect him to be great at kayaking but I did expect him to give a statement about I do what's good for the team especially when he has a contract and now has 7m in the bank. These types of comments have been said before and I'm sure there is a playbook that they memorize provided by teams and managers so they can't screw it up.
