I still cry when they first see the dinosaurs in JP, even 30 years and hundreds of viewings later. As a child I was obsessed with dinosaurs and space, and Jurassic Park has as big a spot in my heart as Star Wars. Both capture that childlike imagination as few films have ever done.

I remember the first time I watched JP when it opened, I had just finished my Freshman year in college. I watched it at the Cinedome theaters in Sacramento. I had also just finished reading the book and I was not disappointed at all with the movie, even though the ending was different from the book. Great video Peter and Kitra!

That's fun! I forget if I already told you guys this story, but my 9th grade biology teacher once told us we were going to watch a movie about genetics...and then he popped in Jurassic Park! 😂 And I swear, he'd put it on whenever he didn't feel like teaching. I remember seeing him putting his head down on his desk! I'd usually turn away from the movie myself- it's too scary and gruesome for me. I'm squeamish.

Hey Kitra and Peter! I haven't been to Universal since they added The Simpsons and Mario Land. I was there when Jurassic World ride was named Jurrasic Park. I dont remember seeing the dino encounters though. Hopefully some day soon, I'll get to go again! Im loving all of the Jurrasic World merch. I would definitely eat the chocolate cake. I think Universal is trying to rip a page out of Disney’s book and trying to have more character interaction with guests and more shows widely available. I’ve noticed when I’ve gone recently, an uptick in more characters being out in the park than in recent years.

Very clear memories of seeing the movie. My little brother and cousin and I were with our mums. It was the first movie we saw in the newly opened Odeon in town. I remember the boys being scared and having to swap seats with them so they could sit with their mummies....I still tease them about it all these years later 😂
