Universal Beijing Blew Us Away! Better Than Disney?

It’s our first time at Universal Studios in Beijing China and this theme park is incredible and only a couple years old! We’ll explore Jurassic World and experience the Jurassic World Adventure attraction - is this the best ride in the world? We’ll eat lunch at Hammonds, a fine dining restaurant that looks straight out of the original Jurassic Park movie. And speaking of incredible, they have a How to Train Your Dragon stage show which is probably the best stage show we’ve ever seen at a theme park! And did I mention they have a whole Transformers themed land? You’re not going to want to miss this one! Come with us on this adventure!

It's amazing how the technology is WAY better in China and Japan for Disney and Universal than it is here in the States. Seems like money supercedes technology here in the US. That Jurrassic World ride is amazing!!

Well, we could be like the asian parks, but people here in the States have generational attachements to older rides here. So replacing, would upset a lot of people that have attachments to old rides, rather than the people in Asian parks. The only land i see having that effect in Asian parks is Super Mario world. Also, the parks are newer, so they have the space and willing investors to get as many new and state of the art rides in. But with that, we still do have the most and best state of the art amusement rides than the rest of the world. For now...

That is because the Disney And Universal parks are actually run by different companies not by Disney and Universal like in the states in the States, so a lot of the rides out of the States will most likely never come to the States cause it’s supposed to be exclusive

The female autobot is called windblade. She’s one of the newest characters in the transformers universe, she’s from a colony planet called caminus. She’s part of a breed of cybertronians called city speakers which allows her to communicate and control titans(giant robots that usually transform into cities or planets depending on continuities. Also the silhouette character in the store is hound from age of extinction

Finally thanks to you guys there is a really high quality video of the Jurassic World ride. This attraction has been the most impressive ride ive seen in years, so much advanced technology all in one experience. And with your video I can so clearly see all the elements. Most of the videos online are cell phone footage and way to dark and grainy. This ride gives me hope that not everything will be 3d glasses and screens, way too many attractions have gone that route. But the way this mixes everything is so well done. The part where you are being chased by Indominus must be so incredible in person. Probably the closest to the real ting that anyone would want to go through. Great video as usual, the quality doesnt go unnoticed. How to train your dragon show also looked really impressive. Disney definitely has some competition.

The ride gets a million bonus points for providing a better ending for the jurassic world movie where none of the raptors die and the T-rex gets to kill the Indominus herself instead of the mosasaurus. The Indominus chase animatronic was amazing, very clever to "chase" around a circle to make it easy for the animatronic internals to be hidden by the center pillar of trees.

I can’t thank you enough for your videos. They bring me such joy. When I was a kid, I would get excited to see that one of the networks were doing a special on Disney World or whatever and I would count down the days to watch it (like the special they did when Euro Disney opened). Nobody does big events like this anymore. I also liked shows like Robin Leach’s Lifestyles that took you on travelogues to cool places. Your videos feel like these specials to me. An observation on just how good this ride is: I showed my niece this video and as the two of us watched it we were both ducking and moving around and we were genuinely worried that the Indominous was going to get you guys. Our brains both forgot it was just a ride. It really felt like a crazed dinosaur was after you and my niece was shouting “Run! Run!” I can’t even imagine how good this must be in person if a POV video feels this real in itself!

I am a loss for words! Among everything else, the Jurassic World Adventure blew me away! And I was only viewing it on video. If it's just half as good as it came across on video, wow! And the Train Your Dragon play looks incredible! It was funny that at the end of the play, you videoed you two doing the same thing I was doing. I have had no real interest in the Florida park they are building, but if they were to bring these attractions to Florida let alone California, I may have to rethink all that. Love seeing all the cool stuff in other country's theme parks. The How to Train Your Dragon is fairly similar to the traveling show they did over 10 years ago plus or minus a few dragons here and there. I saw it in person and it was incredible! The popcorn is probably flavored to taste like or made with the actual pink dragonfruit. You can now find these now everywhere fresh in most mainstream western supermarket. The youtiao hot dog look interesting since youtiao is basically a nonsweet fried dough (often called a chinese donut). Looking forward to see the next video!

Love so much of this. Love that “chip n Dale” read us the menu ;-), Love that Kitras impression of the dinosaurs was “meow meow”. Love that you see your fur babies in so many different things. There are tensions that can’t be ignored; Taiwan, the treatment of the native Muslim population of china, trade wars and the origins of the pandemic…. BUT… those are at the government level. My favorite quote from Mark Twain: “travel is fatal to prejudices bigotry and hate”. We learn by traveling and seeing people at the most human level are all very similar.
