A little story: About 30 years ago, a little boy saw a movie called "jurassic park" that changed his life. for the whole duration of the 1990s and well into the 2000s he dreamt of becoming an paleontologist. He was eventually discouraged by his environment: "thats for rich people", "you cant afford to study that - and even if you do someday, youll never get a job because you have no connections". The years came and went. The boy grew up. Became a programmer. Worked a number of years. And now he´s sitting here - listening to this music while taking his first paleontology course at a university. Having massive goosebumbs and a strange feeling of this moment being to good to be true. thanks for the video, pal!

I hope your story and your begining in the world of paleontology is gonna be good. It's my dream too but due to the class that i failed. I can't access the classes to become a paleontologist. I am sad and cry a bit about that but. The feeling of those movies which made me wanting to become a searcher are still there. The loving of these movies is still in me. I won't forget those movies. I loved dinosaurs, i love dinosaurs. I will love dinosaurs. I won't be able to name one sadly. But they are still gonna be in my heart.

Nah bro. Hey there, don't forget this message: "You can still do it. You can write or create a simple app or software about the dinosaur world. I had the same dream as you - I wanted to become a paleontologist, but it seems like I never pursued it. However, I kept my ambition alive by expressing it through writing, in my own book, blog, fanpage... I love to write and create my own world. Hope you achieve your dreams, my buddy."

Suit yourself… I’m in the treetop camps…. Looking out over the canopy towards the valley. There in the distance you can just see the silhouettes of the sauropods and herding dinosaurs. Hear them calling and singing in the night like they did long ago. Birds are chirping in the trees nearby. Crickets and insects buzz insistently against the bug shades, unable to get at me. In the distance, old Roberta roars in her kingdom- an ancient and lonely call.

My Grandpa would always put Jurassic Park on for me whenever he babysat. Problem was, I was 2. At my first checkup when I could speak, my pediatrician asked me what my favorite movie was. In a way, this is what John Hammond wanted. For us to come back to this place. To see it again and feel nostalgia. And the music makes it so much better. Jurassic parks lives in our heads. A park where the prehistoric is at our fingertips lives on in the hearts of the fans. And videos like this help us visit those dreams. It helps us escape the reality that we are in, and takes us to the place we want to go. Even if it’s for just a little bit.

You know as a kid who grew up in the late 90's /early 00's, Jurassic Park was one of my favorite movies (never too scary for me!), and there was always a part of me that just really, _really_ wished that the park had worked. The buildings were so pretty, the gift shop toys looked so fun; when I was kid, I really wanted to go there. Just, you know, without the possibility of a horrific death.
@babaliboon93232 жыл бұрын
Also, as a kid I used to have the thrill for that running and surviving from dinosaurs vibe. Perhaps death wasn't fully grasped at that time, because I recall being much more into the thrill of picturing myself as a secret agent or something, too, and how fun it would be - not realizing the implications of a "license to kill." 😂 Child naivety.

This video brings me back to being nine years old again when the first Jurassic Park movie was released, and the hours I spent watching, reading, playing, and listening to the soundtrack. The music always gave me the most indescribable feeling, one that I now know can probably best be described as "sehnsucht." I so badly wanted the park to actually exist and visit it (ideally without the catastrophic events in the movie), and the knowledge that I could never go there was a constant aching wish. Now, thirty years later, I still feel the same way. Thanks, Ambient Worlds, for taking me back to my childhood!

I'm actually liking universal studios these days instead of disney world because of many reasons. i still like disney stuff. the park should not be so friggin expensive that a family need to like take out a loan. they keep taking all the best attractions out and changing them. my mom wants a family trip to disney even at price now but not such good idea because my little nephew my sis and want to be able to show him our childhood visits to DW. oh btw at universal i walked into the building in jurassic area but didn't have much time to take it all in.

Think about it, Jurassic Park was John's all-time dream. He, unlike his book counterpart, had genuinely good intentions. He wasn't after money, he wasn't after fame, all he wanted was to bring joy to the likes of adults and children alike through the avenue of something that they could interact with physically...that being the dinosaurs. He wasn't aware of the corporate espionage, or Biosyn attempting to sabotage the island, and, while yes, corners were obviously cut to build the park in time for the public, and better insight probably would have prevented a lot of events from happening (better containment and handling for the raptors, for example), but John really wanted this to be a good thing for humanity, to the point he kept telling himself that all they'd have to do is willpower through this and the next time, they'd do it even better. He'd given everything to this park, and even lost close friends in the process. If I had to watch my number one idea that I've poured my time, money, sweat, tears, and even broke friendships for blow up in my face...yeah, I'd be sad, too.

You really can’t get tired of those films and soundtracks … I grow up with them like a lot of other people I guess, still so special to me, when I was young, I always dreamed to see one dinosaurs, those movies were fire. And every time I’m hearing those first piano notes, all memories comes back, and it’s like i’m a child again playing with my plastics dinosaurs, makes me kinda nostalgic and sad, and also ( even tho i’m ain’t fan of kids) exiting to see mine playing with them and watching all those movies together.

I'm not depressed but I love when it rains. I'm not sad but I love sad songs. I'm not hiding but I love when it's night. I'm not tired but I love my bed. I'm not quiet but I love silence. I'm not alone but I feel alone. I don't really understand myself

The biggest smile that came to my face is unimaginable. Jurassic park is my childhood and this ambience made me fall asleep without using my sleeping medication. (I can never sleep without it)

I enjoy playing this video while I am playing Ark Survival Evolved. Some of my favorite tracks from the CD's I played years ago are in here. Thank you Ambient Worlds for this audio collection with nice environmental sounds.
