Jurassic Park is a 1993 video game developed by BlueSky Software and published by Sega for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. When I played this as a 11 year old kid, this arguably was the closest to a “horror game” on the genesis. It wasn’t necessarily scary but it was definitely creepy. The music, sound effects and visual effects gave the player a sense of the dinosaurs and the environment being evil. The extreme difficulty also added to a sense if dread. I never got past the boat level where you go down a river. Too hard.

Fastest thirty minutes of my life. I enjoyed watching this so much that I was surprised when it ended. I never could get past the river level, so thank you for finally showing me how this game ends. I haven’t played in nearly thirty years but it brought back a lot of memories.

I played this game in 4th grade in 97’. Little late but Lost World came out that year and I saw it in theaters and loved playing it.
