The most terrifying thing about the scene is when the I-Rex realizes it can't just bite through the armor plating on the back of the Ankylosaurus. It figures out that by cutting its leg and causing its leg to collapse, it's tilted giving it the opportunity to flip it over and kill it. The fact that it was smart enough to do that, made the I-Rex terrifying for me.

+RikkiTikkiTavi I think so. Notice that the Anky gave a heavy hit to the girosphere and that hit didn't crush the glass, while the power of the iRex's jaws was enough. Moreover, I can't understand why there are animals outside the park (???), like those Ankylosaurus and, finally, there were two Ankylosaurus: why the second one falls (apparently) dead to the ground (0.18 in the video) without being touched is a mystery. This movie is a pile of unanswerable questions, cliches and unacceptable reconstructions (the Stegos with the tails lowered to the ground is a 1910s idea, The Lost World presented a more acceptable reconstruction of them).

+Kenyawn Chaney I have seen the movie (7 times actually while it was still in theaters). And let me just correct you on a few things: 1) The Indominus Rex is able to camouflage and change its color because it has Cuttlefish DNA (cuttlefish have chromatophore a that enable them to change color). All the Dinosaurs in Jurassic park are made up of both Dinosaur and frog DNA. The I-Rex specifically has Tree Frog DNA which enables it to hide its heat signature from thermal cameras. 2)The I-Rex is not part Ankylosaurus. The dinosaurs it's made up of are a T-Rex (base genome), Velociraptor, Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops, Giganotosaurus, and Therizinosaurus.

To be fair, the indominus has the strength to bat away a truck like a fly and make it do several flips in the air in the process. With that kind of strength and the fact that all of that was concentrated on the very fine point of the claw means that power was amplified when the indominus pierced the glass of the gyrosphere. I’m not sure you could even engineer a glass to withstand that kind of strength and power.

That Ankylo literally did everything necessary to fend off a T-Rex, it's biggest nemesis. An accurate swing from it's club would crack a Rex's bones. The Rex had no way to bite through it's armor, nor flip it over without risking injury. Unfortunately it didn't have the arsenal to deal with the I-Rex. Realistically, pack hunters would be the only carnivores capable of taking down an Ankylo.

@@nahor88 real ankylosaurus don't have long legs which makes it easier to flip, JW have long legs whick makes them EASSIER to flip , that's why real life anky has squat gate legs not only to prevent from flipping but also support there weight and JW ANKY have so flexible tail which makes it less EFFICIENT , cause the flexible it is it's less powerful, than real one cause accurate anky had less flexible and more roccky make it more easy to deal fatal blow , and if it's real the I rex is don't look like that cause velociraptor is only size of turkey not human size it would be like I rex is a bit smaller if it's scientific

People keep saying the Ankylosaurus would have crushed the I-Rex's jaw, but remember this, the Indominus was designed as the perfect killing machine. The size of a T-Rex (bigger actually), the intelligence and claws from a Velociraptor and an incredibly resistant armor-like skin from what appears to have been from an Ankylosaurus as well. Not to mention it's ability to camouflage and change it's body temperature. I'd say it's possible that the Ankylosaurus swipe only tickled the I-Rex.

@@jjohnson1086 Perhaps, but predators in our world don't do that to things they're trying to eat. Lions roar at lions and hyenas, but they don't roar when they're stalking or chasing prey. I can't think of any pursuing predator that does. If it's an ambush predator, it gives the prey extra warning. If it's a pursuit, it wastes oxygen that's needed for the chase. It just doesn't make sense. Bears roar at people if they're trying to intimidate them, but if it's a predatory attack, they're pretty quiet.

Radian Eh, no. I get what point you’re attempting to make, but no. First of all, all the dinosaurs in this entire franchise literally owe their lives to humans. Second of all, even if the Ankly was born and raised in the wild, it would NEVER stand a chance against a creature like the I-Rex. The I-Rex’s long arms as well as intelligence make it able to take down creatures like Anklys and Trikes with minimal issue, hence why it flipped the dino over before quickly breaking its neck.

If you think about it, the Jurassic world scenes are the combination of the Jurassic park franchise. Like in the INDOMINUS break out scene, it's like the T. rex break out scene with the clever girl combined.(Jurassic park 1) and also, the ankylosaur vs indominus is the T. rex vs Spinosaurus scene (Jurassic park 3) plus when the INDOMINUS was breaking the glass vehicle, it was like the Spinosaurus breaking the airplane scene with them escaping the plane or zach and grey escaping the glass vehicle.
