Something I noticed doing this challenge, releasing the dilophos via airlift unlocks the carnivore feeder for research before you even select the delivery point. That way, you can get the feeders researched before you place the dilophos in the enclosure.

Making paths wider DO help reducing overcrowding. In severe cases, you can just add a small loop in the overcrowded area if there is enough of space to do so. It tricks the game helping to deal with overcrowding a bit better

59:19 trust me. Increase the path sizes every chance you get. It will double your profit because more people can walk around. Also build an attraction next to the entrance near the gift shop. That will also increase your profit rating. Im following the guide but making a few minor adjustments to maximize profit and scientist efficiency. The video super helpful.

omg, I can't believe I finally made it. It took me almost 15 hours to get this bad boy done. Thank you so much for the tutorial! I followed it almost 1:1. At the end I made a save and put Tylo after Tylo into the lagoon. 😆 For anybody who says it doesn't work any more, try the following: Follow the video but build two galleries immediately, research power asap. Then this will play out just fine. Thanks again, me very happy. 😃✌️

An alternative solution to jump start the park even more is using the building-movement feature from the very start: Build a paddock around the Brachi and place a viewing gallery that will detect it. It will be automatically registered as your dino that way and will even count for the "release one dino" requirement of the unlocks. Move the entrance and the controll center into that area as well and then start building from there. Basically the fastest way to get profitable with the park i think. edit: also, about the backup power vs the power plant: power plant will cost 50.000 per minute while at the start the backup generator costs 77000~ ish for around 4 minutes. it depends on how much power you use ofc, but as long as you are under like 26 power usage, the backup generator is more cost efficient. Tldr: dont build powerplant asap, it costs more if you arent using it at over 50% capacity or so.

Pro tip pay close attention to the scientists restock. At 5 seconds to restocking them save the game and keep reloading until you get auxiliary salary scientists with 3 or more skills in the 3 skills.

Ok so at 4.7 stars all my animals started getting sick so its programmed in the game to cripple you at the end. The 9 pools were to small to house 6 pleasioths and 3 Tylosaurus. Lost 2 plesioths to them. My stars weren't moving so i placed down as many amenities as i could and constructed the innovation center 1. When i made that thing i got a point immidietly and suddenly more ppl wanted to shop. Had the fully upgraded walking paths to. If anyones reading this make the pools on the far left side of the map thats completely unused. You should be able to get more pools than you need over there. Just leave room for 3 big amenities and a few little ones.

Soooo I watched this, tried elements and couldn't figure out why it wasn't quite working out for me... I feel like a year later I'm running an updated version of the game and it's quite different. Another thing that absolutely kicks my butt is if the brachi wonders out of the viewing pen range all of my amenities tank, cause they're only getting traffic cause everyone flocks to that paddock.

First time I played Jurassic dificulty I went bankrupt after 12 minutes. Second time even faster. 3rd time I researched the bare minimum I needed to get started and fired all 3 scientists to keep my head above water. This worked somewhat, at least I had positive cashflow. Then after struggling for 3 hours I accidentally enclosed the wild Brachiosaurus, I didn't know it was there. After 8 hours I had 12 different species and only 3.5 stars. I went for the aviary instead of the lagoon. That was probably my biggest mistake. On my next playthrough I'll still do my own thing, but there's some things I learned from your video. Like for example the fact that a helicopter can take pictures, lol, I didn't know it could do that. This makes things so much easier than having to drive that jeep around. You also explained amenities well, before I barely understood how they worked. On my next playtrough or the one after that I should be able to get the trophy.

I also have some advice based on watching your video. It’s only a small thing but it does seem to help with dinosaur variation penalties. When you go to synthesise a dinosaur I noticed you don’t ever change the colour or pattern of your dinosaurs. It’s a free upgrade and ensures that less of the dinosaurs are identical 👍🏻

Thank you very much, its been a while since i played, before all the DLCs came out. Now i started again, new PC included, lost all progress too. I amanged to get 5 stars on jurassic past then in all challenges. Somehow after playing again i struggled hard. always ending up with 4.8 or 4.9, once only 2k income short... really annoying. With this tipps it was so easy, after 4 hours ingame time i had 5 stars, and learned some really important things... for the challenges, dont try to get the impressive dinos, go for easy to get and put out as many as possible, 1 mosasaurus isnt worth it if you can get 3 tylo way earlier with much less money and even more important with cheap scientists... for mosa, t-rex and such you always need specialists which cost really a lot, on top of that you cant put these high dinos together with others, tylo + plesio works like a charm you cant even get half of the appeal with 1 mosa. And this is a neckbreaker, if you try to get those the cost of the scientists will slow down everything way too much, and this is always the same for all the other maps too... forget the high skilled scientists to go for the prestige dinos, go like this done in the guide and everything goes smoothly. Thank you very much.

Due to changes made to cohabitation it is required to have tolerant on Nasutoceratops to prevent them from trying to break out of their enclosure, also Brachiosaurus needs more space now.

your walkthrough is really great,- just at end i could not follow your way, because i had not enough space for the big lagoon and other bouldings left i was trying it over 7 hours, -did not comr over the 4, 6 max stars..then each minute some dino died, and so on.and all my fishes were sick becs 8 lagoons were to small for them

yes, i did so, i sorted my zoo more in ypur way, puh long job-- lol. then i made last part, stocked at 4,8 again, then i just made 3 more tylos, did them into the too small lagoon, - and peng,-- after some seconds, before they died, -i got my 5 star.. lol. btw thank you for your answer,-and i apalogise for my bad english, - i am german- and my english sucks. forgot a lot vocabulary in the last 45 years, dond understand a lot too,- may be that was one prob- i did not understand some or your awarnimgs.:)))))))))))

I'm doing my own thing, am currently at 80 dinosaurs visible including big appeal ones such as gigantasaurus and flipping mosasaurus and am really struggling to get above 4.6. Maybe it's the monorail that i didn't build..?

10 mins in the ceratopsids are already catching cold because they won't cohabite with the struthies. Very annoying, massive area yet won't move to the empty half

First of all, what a brilliant tutorial! The amount of work that has gone in to this👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I have a problem tho. I played Jurassic on this map for the first time tonight. And tried to do what you did with the Tylo. But there is a huge problem, bug? glitch? The game shows zero negative traits when I am in the genome modification section of the Tylo. But when I synthesis a Tylo, I only get once with the aggressive trait! How is this possible? The genome is at 100%

Yea, the more aggressive dinosaurs and reptiles usually can acquire the aggressive trait even with no negative traits.

Stuck with 4.8 rating with the exact same setup, got 100% amenity coverage, don't know why my 4 Tylosaurus keep getting chronic stress even tho they have 10 lagoon section
