I just did UK I thought I was slaying Park 4 until I released a T rex and then realised my appeal is still 16 WTF I'm lost now. My dinos add 0 appeal I wasted all that money to get 100% rex. I'm only gearing appeal from attractions so 🤷

The cohabitation tab just says that the Allosaurus likes the Ceratorsaurus. That's true, he likes to kill them :)

Yes. He's happy to share with things he can X easy same with most. If they pose a danger then its an issue. I've started to just cage in my guests and send them into the wild in the balls let the dinosaurs figure out their territory sleep them if they wander.

Thank you so very much! It took me a good while, but I just finished this (first of the 5 Jurassic challenges toward the platinum trophy) with your generous helpful video. I almost gave up a couple of days ago (I've never given up on a platinum trophy before), because of how frustratingly diificult it is near the end. The only thing I wished you had covered in detail is the placement of those 5 emergency shelters; I was able to find 4 of them by searching through the video, but had to do a few saves and experiment to find decent placement for the last one in the limited space on the map. Knowing ahead where they should go would have helped me plan it out ahead.

I was getting my backside kicked by bad events and useless contracts, but I think I've got the park stable at 1.5 stars now. I'll make sure to like and comment on the other video as well. I've had to rewind and watch bits over and over while playing. Is that better or worse than watching from start to finish for the analytics/ad revenue? I want to make sure you get properly paid for all your efforts!

thanks for the beginning part. usually the challenges poses a difficulty at the start of the stage. when you have a stable income in the 2-3 star, it will be a breeze from there. with that said, it was a hassle towards the end as im used to checking your breakdown of each dinosaur on each paddock. i didnt find that info on this tutorial so i just winged it. i equip the additional bays for all hatchery and incubate (not release) indo raptors and tylos. once i have 5 each, i release them all at once and fire all my scientists. got my 5 stars.

Hi, I have been watching your videos and really do like them. I don’t mind the commentary during the games play but you have given me some tips that I use during my game play; so thank you. There is a tip that I learned is that the tour guides can connect between each other; it’s really cool. Another thing that has helped the Monorail’s you only have to connect the tacks with each other. The Monorail’s act as an entrance; so you don’t need any paths which helps with space.

Thank you for these videos I probably tried 15 different times to do this and my dinos just slaughtered each other damn them for putting a cohabitation thing if it doesn't matter so many hours wasted, playing on xbox but I managed to get my "plat" trophy today thanks to this video and the Germany video much appreciated!

Great guide your stuff really helped me 100% the game. 1 tip I have that might be useful in some instances. The stars are based on Income not profit. What I did is when I have about 4.7 or higher I go to all my amenities and change module based on the income it’s generating not profit. I was in the negative for profit on 4 of my amenities at around 4.7 stars but the income was maxed it could be based on guests. Then I placed small amenities on anything under 100 not matter it it had 15 or 50 because it serves two purposes; it will increase your coverage for comfort and it will generate Income no matter if it’s profit. Obviously I only did this when I had a money cushion. Not the beginning cause the beginning you need to make profit of course. With this method I went from 4.7 to 5 stars in 3 minutes but I was making -100k a min good thing I had 180 mil in bank lol

Cheers for the tips! yes the profit thing came to light and was nerfed in the updates, they change many mechanics in the updates, mainly co habitation perks and debuffs!

1:50 As I'm sure you have already figured out (but the info might still be useful to others), the Likes and Dislikes are related to the Cohabitation bar (part of Comfort Tab/Territory Needs). If the Cohabitation Preferences say that a dinosaur "likes" another species, it doesn't mean they'll live together peacefully at all; it only means that their Cohabitation bar will not go up if they are placed in the same enclosure. They'll not get "uncomfortable" living alongside. But they might still fight/hunt/kill each other (rather comfortably, if nothing else 😂).

Yup. I had great luck getting "likes" carnivores together so long as they had plenty of space and food. I selected for less aggression and intolerance.

I did this challenge by filling the first part of the map with innovation centers and all other guest facilities to create some sort of money savings to research most of what I needed. I am doing the same with southwest but it feels slower probably due to how the map is construct. At least Mosa is present so in late game I won't have to hatch 4 Spinosaurus to get the same appeal Mosa provide😅

doesnt work anymore, for a long time now, you cant stack innovationscenters anymore, only one will generate appeal, same goes for the attraction,y ou have to use different ones.

Tip- sepwrate dinos in same cage with rocks. Counts as cohabitation but wont allow them to fight the other species. Be sure to have water and food on each side so they dont die!

Are there differences in the difficulty modes regarding cohabitation? I beat the first five maps on hard and I mostly had Carnotaurus and Albertosaurus in one paddock, Quinzhousaurus and Majungasaurus, and at least on one map Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus in one paddock. No Dino of that list tried to fight or eat another species in hours. So there must be a difference in jurassic mode I guess?

Quick tip for future reference, dunno if it's been down to the updated version I've been playing since these videos have been done, but herbivores are happy to share space with piscivores, had a paddock happy with barys and nodos/polas without any aggression! Dunno about dracos or any other pachys or small herbivores, least till I test later

Piscivores are less bloodthirsty than other carnivores, but bary and suchi will kill herbivores sometimes. It's an issue of cohabitation. Once you're over their cohabitation limit, they'll nuke herbivores from orbit. On the Isla Sorna safari challenge, the suchomimus regularly tangled with triceratops especially. Both will kill smaller herbivores occasionally, but they never went after the sauropods.

hi there question how do unlock all dinosaurs and buildings on sandbox mode because iv completed Canada and Germany islands on challenge mode and still no buildings or dinosaurs have been unlocked in sandbox. regards

I'm not sure if this is mentioned in your video (since I haven't watched all of it), but if anyone else is struggling to get the T. Rex unlock by having a dinosaur win 3 fights: Put together a pen that can hold Velociraptors and Dracorexes. They can actually cohabit, despite being carnivore/herbivore, but they will fight each other. Since they have nearly equal stats, they shouldn't ever really kill each other outright. I had a pen of 7 Vels and 5 Dracos, but I would imagine it would also work with less; you would just need to be careful about maintaining the min. population for them if one of them does end up dying. I would also recommend making sure you have a Paleo-Medical facility very close by so they can quickly heal things, since I saw their Health drop down (after fights) to about 15%. I had no modifications on the Dracos, but the Vels had nothing but the Strong trait maxed out (which does make them stronger than the Dracos), but I'm unsure if that was necessary. I was originally trying to get the Vels to fight each other by trying to get Aggressive/Intolerant/Strong traits on all of them, but they never fought each other until the Dracos came in. The Dracos were also fighting each other on occasion, so you should be able to get potential wins from two different kinds of fights.

Allosaurus likes metriarchasaur and something else. But metriarchasaur does not like the other dino so friendly traits solve that issue and you can have 6 types of big carnivores in 2 separate pins. And if you want to bump that up to 7 dinos, stick the compy dino in both pins. Now both pins have 4 types and all dinos getting along

Although watching your playthrough helped me quite a bit, this scenario really frustrated me. Whatever could have gone wrong did go wrong, like, murphy's law x 1000. Notably, I almost went bankrupt because one of the Struthio glitched out at 0% hp on the jurassic tour path in a "threatening vehicule" state. This sent my safety rating to 0% and it took me several minutes to find out why I was suddenly at 0.3 stars, hemorrhaging funds. I had to manually tranquilize it and it died the moment it got tranq. Then I was late on the lagoon and it felt like I hovered at 2.2-2.3 stars for an 1h30 until I just banked up money to get the lagoon just like you built. Then all but one of my enclosures got hit by the everlasting cold-pneumonia combo. Then my Baryonix and Suchomimus were fighting all the time, so I had to setup separate enclosures for them. Then came that dumb frustrating mechanic to get that 5-star. I was at 4.7-4.8 for so long, the whole park space was used, amenities everywhere. Turns out I was lacking the species count (I had slightly bigger enclosures with same type as opposed to smaller paddocks for more variety like you did, I should have watch your whole video - mea culpa). I had to "cheat" by basically prepping my hatchery to release 5 different species at once, some airlifted, but 3 send right in the wolf's den and that was enough of an appeal boost to get that 5th star. I missed the Planet Zoo/Coaster mechanic, where how beautiful your park is translated to your overall rating rather than amenities tetris. Thank you for your serie, it helped me a lot.

I done all challenges on Jurassic except this one. The storms are a lot easier to manage. Money is way better than challenge 5. Dinosaurs have long life with modifiers. Feeders at 2.5 stars was a little tricky but I just feed them struths. I’m at 3.8 - 3.9 stars and can’t seem to pull ahead. I think it’s because of the guest restrictions. My park is full no more room. I have a lagoon but doesn’t have enough open space for tylosaurus. I have monorail with %100 transport. I have paddock in the furthest section of the map with 2 trex and 20 scavengers but the amenities by it aren’t getting enough guests. I can’t cram more dinosaurs into my paddocks because it drives down the open space. I’m out of space and only just hovering below 4 stars.

I'd been watching your Video from Canada to Germany and then determined myself to see if up I'm to the challenge of doing united kingdom Jurassic Challenge to 5 star on my own (Succeeded) then I went North U.S. thinking I'll get 5 star lol but flunk in the 1st or 2nd hr because while I manage to get as high as 1.6 star, I couldn't get to 2.5 in time and my star keep lowering due to constant escape from Carnivores and I went straight up bankrupt lol, looks like I'll be watching this guide just for help

You know, I noticed something, he was saying about the 'dead dinosaur' glitch. He was putting Compys in with other carnivores and they were eating them, that's why there's the 'dead dinosaur' because they're being eaten.

With reference to the money influxes that you mentioned, I’m not sure how common it is but I got offered $15M on Canada for me to lose my star attraction (was just before I put the tylosaurus’ in) so I got $15M for a carnotaurus when I had 5 of them anyway 😂

Still stuck but I do have the dinos I want planned out, but the length of walkway on this map is messing with me. I don't want the first enclosure too close or too far from the arrival point. Also I find it annoying you need to put amenities right near the arrival point. Seems my OCD is just trying to over think.

You can get large carnos to live together. I know what your problem is. When you synthesis dinos make sure they dont have the red trait that makes them hate all other species. As long as no dinos have that 1 trait they can cohabitate togethrr. I have all sorts of Carnos living together.

At the time of that recording carnivores hated other carnivorous species, even other species of carnivores they were supposed to like. It has nothing to do with the aggressive trait.

Been struggling on this one. Mistake I made was just not B lining it to the T-Rex, Indominus and Indoraptor. I have a handful of small, mediums, and a handful of large carnivores, 3 birds, 2 fish - and i'm only on 4.3 stars. I've done everything from safety, paths, travel, rides etc. I'm 11 hours in. Should be able to finish it tonight but my god this has been the grindiest level. So much waiting around for fossils.

Alright reign I'm at 4.3 but I cba with trying 2 release 3 dinos with strong trait + have 3 fights won by 1 dino for the indo rex so can I just release 2 Spinos in the indo rex paddock as there stats are like 1200 each? There's so much time added to this map by silly little things so frustrating, keep up the good work look forward to buying the dlc, shame the film wasn't much kop 😩

With Carnivore cohabitation: I've always put Majungasaurus with Carnotarus and never had issues.

You have to space them out over your park, I tried to use 1 long main path along my park avoiding little paths leading off.

Hey buddy, just wanted to let you know that your guides for this game are awesome! I watched all of them and finished challenges 1-4 on jurassic difficulty. Thanks a lot for your work. I approached challenge 4 a bit differently in the end and got the 5 stars quicker by building an aviary in the last area instead of researching the Indominus Rex. The aviary attracts normal guests according to the guest overview screen. It takes a lot of time, resources and a bit of luck (one dinosaur needs to win 3 fights) to research the Rex tree. You probably fulfilled some requirements accidentally by cohabitating species that killed each other. When is challenge 5 up? I've seen on PSNProfiles that you finished it yesterday. Yesterday, a patch was released fixing some of the more annoying bugs and introducing some balance changes to the challenges like "balanced economy". Any idea if they'll make the challenges easier/harder? If the latter is the case, your guides might need an update?

This game was a headache just got the platinum but I just redownlaoded Jurassic Evolution 1 and it is soo buttery smooth compared. Highly recommend anyone to play it

Compy and rexes cohabitate. I tested it with 5 rexes and 20 compys and over 6 hours none of the rexes even looked at the compys

It's all about amenities' placement and modulation. As soon as you hit 4.5+ Stars, ignore profit and just maximize income, since that's what your rating is 100% based on. Dinosaur appeal, number of species, and even other ratings do not need to be perfect at all, as long as your amenities are raking in max $$$.
