I suggest you star with herbivores. Get all of them on the map, and connect the enclosures with gyrosphes. You only need like 3 or 4 of them so around 12 amenities and 3 by each one. Easiest 5 star every

You don't even need to tranq the first batch of dinos, once you construct a fence around them the game recognized them.

You actually can put the compies into an enclosure with any herbivores, since they cannot kill anything. One strat I like to do is bunch them in with the Gigantspinosaurs to save on enclosure space for later.

Compies can go in with pretty much everything, so they are pretty useful for getting extra ratings!

For me, when I played this on easy, I built a tour ride that spanned the entire outer permiter, and it got me to about two stars. Then i build up, I started with Dilos in a small cage and then caged the roaming ones right where they were and had the tour go though those locations. I added Ankylosaurus to the center cage, 2 carnotaurus to the compy area, and an allosaurus and 3 baryonyx and 3 suchumimus to the area where the other dinosaurs were. I added a cage for stegosaurus, some pachys with the noodosaurus, and then 3 megalosaurus to a cage on the right side. Took 10 hours, but I hit 5 stars

Well, aviaries are definitely a lackluster but with lagoons, you can drop 3 ichtios then unlock tylos that will get you 3,2k of instant appeal even despite quite an expensive research/expeditions/incubation. So, making a save before the attempt and trying may work

Can confirm, this can be done VERY easily with zero dinosaurs. Purely innovation centres. I only used about 60-80% of the map and completed it in about 3 hours. Genuinely blown away by how easy this was!

Thank you! I'm glad the videos are helping you! The herbivore exhibits can be mixed and matched to a certain amount, just make sure they all like each other. A good enclosure is kentrosaur, olorotitan, amargasaurus. There is also edmontosaurus, archeorinthomimus, and stegosaurus. Hopefully that helps you a bit, let me know if you need more help!

This is helpful, but I think it might be a bit much for me to handle. If I was to do the strategy with no dinosaurs, then I'm guessing to just tranq and sell them all right? Update: Apologies, I forgot this was the Jurassic mode when I'm sticking to the hard mode. I'm sure that would be slightly easier.

So on Hard difficulty, you start off with 2 expensive Scientists, do you fire & replace the or use them? Cause when I replaced them for cheaper, I ended up hiring scientists that didn’t have enough points to research much.

It’s probably better to fire any scientists that are excessively expensive right off the bat, you can always recruit and train more later

Star rating is about park income not your revenue. The difference between 1 star and 5 star on there was about 1.5 million more under income.

Carnivores are great. More cost-efficient than herbivores for sure. About the same space efficiency as well. Lagoons are great for Tylos too - although space is tight on this map. I did this map first time on Jurassic with 27/30 species - similar to how you did it. The more i tested things the more I realized you can do it however you want in this game - balanced pretty well. 15/30 is fine with big carnos and Tylos. You will get 5 stars long before any die off. 30/30 herbivores that's cool too - you'll probably get the same time in the end. Humble trait alpha is key for Tylos and Carnos since they are essentially 1 species per enclosure. Dino choice really is up to you in this game - anything will work if you've got everything at 100% and pack enclosures tight. Although, no matter what you do, this map layout is awful. Moving the entrance point allows you to capture all dinos on the map without having any transport issues. There are a couple spots with enough room.

Are you suppose to get ground leaf, Forrest etc to 100% or just so the comfort is satisfied??

You should try to get your Dino’s comfort to 100% as much as possible. Not having enough of the required environment (ground leaf, trees, etc.) will cause your Dino’s to get sick eventually.

If the bars are not in the red, the comfort rating will be 100%

@@folx2733 yea I understand that. But having it say 65% might put it out the red. However the wording using in the video, "you can come back to make it 100%" Implies there is benefit to doing so.

@@thatoneguychad420 yeah I didn't understand that part either and I've been playing since the launch of the first game. I don't think that it has any benefit. If the overall comfort is 100%, you don't need to fiddle with it anymore.

I thought it was only the negative 'physical' traits that are bad? Traits like anti social and aggressive should not affect lifespan, I think. Have you tested that?

I don’t know for sure on those, but I avoided them just to be sure. I believe there was a lifespan reduction for negative social traits as well.

Having enough dino's is only part of getting 5 stars. You have to make sure your guest comfort is as high as possible as well. I would check to make sure your guest comfort is where it needs to be, and that your amenities are configured to make as much profit as possible.

You can keep your large ones if they are doing well, you might just need to throw a small or medium one in here and there to provide more coverage.
