Except that's not how real animals work. In actual nature, herbivores are WAY more dangerous than carnivores. A carnivore won't attack unless it's threatened, think you're its favored prey, or it's REALLY hungry. Herbivores can be extremely territorial, protective of their fellows, and just not tolerant of anything entering their space. There's an old saying: Carnivores run for their supper, herbivores run for their lives. A carnivore has to measure risk and reward and lot more, not wanting to expend too much energy or risk getting too injured to hunt. A herbivore will throw everything it has into defending itself or driving off/killing anything it sees as a threat or competition.

@@DraconimLt That's because it's a movie series. It's bullshit designed to give people thrills. In other words, they purposefully exaggerate the threat from carnivores to make the movies scary. It should not be relied on as a model for real animal behavior - living or extinct.

I love both the hybrid dinosaurs in both this and the last movie but for completely different reasons. I feel they're the opposite sides of the same coin. I love the Indominus for being a fairly realistic animal that serves as a cautionary tale to when animals are raised in captivity the wrong way. But I LOVE the Indoraptor for being this horror movie monster that howls at the moon and seems to take pure joy in murder. It's just so much fun to watch this guy running around smiling his scary head off. Also, apparently there's a deleted scene where the Indoraptor learns to smile after watching a cruel guard taser one of the captive dinosaurs, and it slowly starts to mimic him

The friendly triceratops looking dinosaur is known as Sinoceratops. The crocodile/alligator-looking dinosaur is Baryonyx. The "T-Rex with horns" is the Carnotaurus (My favorite dinosaur among 1-2K known discovered dino species). The hard-headed friendly dinosaur that Owen (Chris Pratt's character) provoke to escape from the cell is called the Stygimoloch! Yup, I'm something of a dinosaur nerd myself, heh.

What disturbs me most about big dinosaurs eating people, like the big water one in the beginning, compared to them being eaten by smaller ones like Velociraptors is that they aren't killed by being torn apard. For, who knows how Long, they Keep living inside. For however long that is, those people have to live with this thought that they are inside the dinosaur and will die like that. Yes, they might suffocate or drown soon but still. The moments until then might feel like an eternity and that to me is more terrifying than the fact that that person is dying.

Dropping a ladder someone is hanging on, when they don't realize its going to move on them!!! That's potentially dangerous. Granted not life threatening injuries, but if you slip that could easily be a sprained ankle if not worse. He had a good instinct to hold on, so no harm done, but its still stupid. Also repeatedly targeting the same actor, that's kind of malicious. Trying to get genuine reactions should be reserved for when they're reacting to what others are doing, not reacting to things being done to them. Like Matt Damon laughing uncontrollably at Robin Williams going off script during good will hunting. Or Luda's spit take in F6.

Come to think of it, the I raptor going after the girl doesn’t make sense in regards to eating for substance. Why go for the smaller food when you can go for the bigger food. I don’t think the I raptor is dieting and needs to maintain its figure so deciding to eat less than more is not a logical instinct. So that leads me to think that the I raptor is killing because it wants to. It’s killing for the hunt, because it wants to kill everything it sees. Just like the I-Rex which it has DNA from. So the Jurassic world movies have succeeded in making truly villainous dinosaurs. But then again, I think back to the raptors in original movie, when they were hunting lex and Tim in the kitchen. Were they simply hunting a food source or were they hunting them because they wanted to kill them for their own enjoyment? Muldoon did say they have intelligence, even problem solving intelligence. Perhaps they were fully aware that they were hunting weaker animals (man) and they were having a great time toying with them before they went for the kill. 🤔
@CoffeeMatt102 жыл бұрын
Everything about the Indoraptor makes it seem… unhinged… psychotic even. Like it had a mental defect. It twitches and tics as if it has Tourette’s, it behaves in an almost childishly menacing manner (the grin when it plays “dead” before chomping Wheatley’s arm). So for it to chase Maisie doesn’t make logical sense, but I think that’s the point. Nothing about the I-Raptor’s behaviour or mental state seems logical.
