Rebirth is a sequel to dominion to my understanding. And the weird mutant I’ve heard is called a D-Rex and that it was a failed T-Rex. I love the concept of failed dinosaurs being on a separate island, I mean some of them had to fail right? When they were learning to make dinosaurs.

This movie was written and directed by the same guy who gave us the first two jurassic Park movies in the 90s that’s why it has the old school feel to it..I’m ready for it can’t wait to see it.

I saw someone in another comment section mention the guitar player in Sinners is supposed to be based on musician Robert Johnson. There is a Netflix story about him called Devil at the Crossroads and it seems as though the character is influenced by Johnson. It was a pretty cool watch.

Rebirth is set after the last trilogy, also they do say "the original park" indicating there has been more than one i.e. Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. I believe the family that appear in the trailer are rescued, but may well be wrong and no idea how they got there. Notice how we only got to see the Raptors feet? At this point, we all know what a Raptor looks like, which has fans very excited because we know this Island was a dumping ground for animals that went "wrong"... Only disappointing thing in the trailer for me and a lot of other people were the Spinos, they are just not designed well, especially as we've already had one in the franchise, but again, a dumping ground for the animals that went "wrong" so maybe there is reason to why some of the animals look the way they do, also we know Spinos were not swimmers, they dwelled in water but were not built to be swimmers. Definitely looking forward to this one

I don’t know if I’m right on this, but I think there’s a megalodon in Jurassic World!! That, a prehistoric whale, maybe a regular shark or whale (because it’s the ocean), or it could be something they messed up like the rest of the island.
