The Jurassic fandom has been buzzing for months about the Rebirth trailer (or lack thereof). It's obvious they'll follow the Jurassic World playbook, which earned tons of money. That movie came out in June too with marketing starting with a Super Bowl teaser. Just one more month, people!

If the leaks are true, to an extent at least, this installment sounds promising. I’ve always like the hybrid/ mutant angle and it makes logical sense to include an imperfect creature from a failed attempt like the Scorpius Rex and to even further with that is something I would like. The only thing is that if the movie is critical successful and makes enough money to warrant a trilogy, have each film focus on different threats and challenges, not have each film have a mutant Dino villain to keep repeating the mistakes of the recent trilogy

The official film's synopsis tells of a group of “maurading aquatic dinos” that sink the family's boat. The leaked synopsis on Reddit claims it was done by the spinosaurus. Not only would you not describe the spinosaurus as an “aquatic” dino, even though it is amphibious, as that paints a picture of a fully aquatic creature, it's also claimed to be aquatic dinoS plural. I know that the synopsis is really weirdly worded and likely AI, but AI wouldn't make a mistake like this. All of this is to say that there's already one part of that leaked synopsis that is confirmed to be bs.

I genuinely just want this JP universe to end. Give us a 4 year break, during which time get a serious studio with a serious budget, patience, and dedication to cast and script just 2 movies. They need to do a book accurate version of JP and Lost World. Make them the sci-fi horror that the way are, not some family adventure franchise. The books read like the Alien movies, the movies should be the same. I love JP, but I’m tired of what we’ve been given so far. The new movies are fun, but they make me appreciate JP3, much more than I did previously.

Gotta say, as a massive Spino fan (JP3 made it my favorite dinosaur), I absolutely would prefer a more accurate design! JP3 Spino is iconic, but what we know about the animal now makes it such a unique creature, and I would absolutely LOVE to see that representation done justice in a Jurassic movie!

Man I hope those leaks are fake. [spoilers for those who don’t want to hear them] I hope they were intentionally leaked by Universal as studios often do put out fake plots. I hope the D-Rex is a coverup for DX and the dinosaur leaks seem mostly reasonable but I don’t believe all of them. We’ll see when the trailer gets here but there does seem to be cool stuff but for the first time there are elements that make me think this could be easily fumbled.
