Might be too much to ask but I've been reading the book (can't believe it's taken me this long) and I hope they incorporate the use of the night version goggles in the game like they did in the book. It would be so cool if you come across them and you can use them in certain situations.

When they were talking about new Dinosaurs that weren't in the movie, maybe they meant Dinosaurs from The Lost World and Jurassic Park III, since they were made by Ingen on Site B. It would make sense they there were some of those species already on Nublar during the 1993 incident. Remember, when Nedry stole the embryos we saw Stegosaurus and Metriacanthosaurus on the labels and didn't see either species in the movie.

It would be interesting if this game had Microceratus, as we saw in Dominion, in 1986 InGen had already cloned Microceratus. Everything indicates that Microceratus had already been taken to the cloud island in 1993, in Jurassic Park. It would make sense for them to appear in JP Survival.

No. In that time, Microceratus only lived on Isla Sorna.

This is looking amazing so far! I hope that the first part of the game - as in like the prologue - will feature the park before the storm. Only the Lego has come so far to try to show the whole of Nublar and even though it's cartoony since it's.. yeah Lego, I still loved seeing more of the island. I'm soo excited, I want to experience Nublar!

I REALLLLLLLLLLLY hope that what the article means by “planning your routes” is you’ll have to flick through the old and grainy security cameras to maybe catch a glimpse of danger on your route. That way you could still run into something you “missed” as opposed to a “dino tracker” or something that’s just dots on a screen.

I hope Rexy will be a free roaming dino over the entire map you can run into anywhere. Not just for story beats. Like the T-Rex in game alpha shot, I hope she just turns up through some trees like in the movie car chase. Edit: you won't find her, she'll find you. 😢

I wouldn't compare Jurassic Park: Survival to A Quiet Place. The developer (Stormind Games) mismanaged their last project to the point it released unfinished.

It would take a lot of contrivance to pull that off. It COULD be done, but the ones that are actually potentially scary are not associated with Dinosaurs, and the franchise has “Jurassic” in the name. You would need something very special to justify taking screentime from dinosaurs and give it to something that could fit in a modern survival film set in Africa, for example. Honestly, it would be better to put that in a different franchise altogether.

Jurassic park survival should look at the SNES game and how the map was with mountains, rivers, and ship and even add volcanoes, open fields, and Abel to drive vehicles. Show death variations similar to RE4 OG. And add a scene from JP1 like how Alien Isolation did and recreate that scene. And another from TLW with running away from the T Rex with all the other guys.

In my opinion, it would be really awesome and would add a lot to the horror element, if Rexy appeared randomly throughout the game, but kinda like having targeted and hunting down Maya constantly and persistently, in the same fashion as Mr X did in the RE2 Remake or perhaps the T-Rex in the PS1 Dino Crisis game. Given that (as stated) Maya is not an action hero or a superhuman, you'd be scared even in the thought of having her pop out of nowhere and surviving Rexy would require cunningness with lots of hiding, therefore she will constantly have players on their toes. If they could couple this with some kind of AI, as the one used in RE2 Remake for Mr X, we'll be talking about the grand return of the JP franchise to its Michael Crichton survival horror roots. Just my two cents.

Jurassic park 3 rewrite all by me: Alan and Ellie hire Roland Tembo, a hunter, and a mercenary named Bo to help them find their daughter Jane on Isla Sorna. The group arrives on the island and encounter many dinosaurs along the way. Bo criticizes Alan and Ellie, calling them rich scum, while Roland talks about hunting being his destiny. Alan and Ellie are worried about Jane. Roland finds raptor eggs keeping them. The group finds Jane after Alan saves her from an Allosaurus. They ride a river into an aviary, where Jane saves Alan from a Pterosaur. They discover a bunker where Jane explains that she didn't know everything about the company and was not allowed to tell anyone about the dinosaurs. Roland leaves the bunker, placing the raptor eggs to lure in the raptors. The raptors evade his trap, and he runs back to the bunker. The group escapes to the roof, but Bo trips and, his last words are “Maybe y'all aren’t so bad," completing his arc of accepting the rich. The group runs to the dock, pursued by raptors. Roland sacrifices himself, saying, "A hunter can’t outrun destiny," completing his arc of realizing that one shouldn't let their dreams engulf their life. The survivors reach the boat, with all character arcs complete. Alan and Ellie learn to let Jane go, acknowledging her independence.

i really don't like this Dilophosaurus design. It may be accurate to how they reappeared in Camp Cretaceous and other JW media, but it's not accurate to Jurassic Park. The head shape is completely off, even from the JW ones. The frill is too small, has the wrong shape, the textures and colors are off, but i guess at least it resembles the JW models who are supposedly the same "generation" as the original '93 one. At least it's better than the dominion BioSyn generation.
