J. Cole will go down as the greatest rapper who ever lives… not most influential cas obviously biggie n pac, not the most hits cas real music doesn't make it to the radio, not the richest cas he doesn't really care about having his own shoes, or clothes or w.e… if you look solely into lyrics and songs... he will go down as the greatest...bet

People compare Kendrick to j cole. Honestly you can't compare them. They both rap about different topics. J cole raps mostly about stories and self experience. Although Kendrick does the same thing sometimes, he mostly rap about the world and situations going on. Two different styles, two great rappers

The thought behind this song is so deep and rarely talked about. When a young man kills another young man two sets of family and friends are affected. As a father to a boy, I couldn’t imagine losing my son to death or prison. J. Cole has been great at looking at life through eyes of an older person and relaying it perfectly through his music. This song is just another great example.
