It doesn't surprise me. People who live through the eyes of others are more likely to have a changing mood. I have huge respect for his work but I think Klopp tends to appeal a lot to the press and the public and when he appears in a less favourable situation (after a loss for example), he can be less smiling and joking.

Just a nice guy. He made his point, conveyed his frustration, then apologized cuz he knew he had an attitude. That is not a penalty but somehow, refs give it all the time in today's football. You could say it's the new norm but I think it's manifestation of bad refing, clear sign of lack of football knowledge. Referees should be told that it is ok to take a step in front of the defender to protect the ball in static positions, but when it happens during sprints, it is the equivalent of diving. You can't break your sprint towards the ball to block the defender's sprint, that's not in the game's spirit at all.

I actually think the reporter did brilliant, stayed calm and respectfully gave his opinion when asked. Obviously Klopp is emotional and has a right to be angry with the reporter for having a different view on the penalty, but the reporter didn't cave under pressure or stutter once. Well done

@I love to have a change now and again It's often about the refs personality. Each ref has a very different interpretation of the rules and that's the issue. I've seen cases where a red card is given, VAR removes it, and a retrospective ban is then given. Refs in football very often disagree with one another about decisions.

You know he does this more than you'd think. He generally comes across as a nice guy but any manager on any given day can snap or blow up like this. It's not a bad thing, it's just pressure of the job. As it happened I remember this game - I agreed it was a soft penalty, but unfortunately in the laws of the game it's a penalty. Do I agree with it? No, but I don't make the rules

I don’t think the interviewer is a bellend, he’s doing his job and I don’t think he provoked Jurgen in any way. Jurgen himself knows that as well and maintains a lowered voice throughout as they are both men who understand that he is pissed. @@frederikzinn5427 the interviewer is basically saying Klopp doesn’t know what he’s doing, based on a few nippleheaded opinions from the BT Sport punditry. I have a low opinion of pundits and their acclaim to be able to manage, as do managers in general. If they could manage, let them try and see how easy it is. Otherwise, they should pipe down, and leave it to those that do (and in Klopp’s case, does well).

You have to be a rocket scientist...BECAUSE the wind can have a big impact in football...only dumb guys don´t see that...I remember Pep also told in a interview in the past about the wind.. If you kicking a ball and the wind is from the right or left, you have to adapt that..as a Goali it is even very hard to calculate - therefore your comment is a stupid one - not the first one, I read so far here... Passion in a man is often interpreted as anger! (Not really fair) He’s not angry about football he’s passionate about his job. The interviewer was certainly insinuating that klopp was wrong. Evidencing conflicting “expert” opinion. It was antagonistic. The fact that klopp apologised for his passion (unnecessary) and it went unreciprocated shows where the class is here. Klopp you’re a true man. Regaining yourself showing composure under duress, impressive. Not that my opinion matters. Love from the lane. Coys.
