I don't think the reporter was trying to get Klopp to agree. How Vinicius plays has been mentioned as an excuse for racist reactions by media, clubs and officials in Spain. So by asking this question, Klopp is given a chance to publicly state how awful that justification is, and completely come out against that idea.

Indeed, this is completely wrong. This is a Brazilian journalist (Fred Caldeira) that did some videos supporting Vino Jr. He wanted exactly the opposite. His goal was showing that only in Spain the Vini Jr. behavior on the pitch is a "problem".

Load of nonsense. Reporters are there to ask questions. A lot of other people (many in Spain) have suggested that Vinicius Jr provokes these reactions. Those people are the ones who are disgraceful. It's good this journalist asked the question so we could see one of the world's best managers say how ridiculous the assertion is. It's obvious the question wasn't meant to catch Klopp out.

He is provocative, I've seen him more than once grabbing his crotch and gestering to supporters (ultras). Spanish football isn't sanitized like English football. For a while now in La Liga, Vinicius has been target of chants that include racial slurs or racial connotations by ultras of rival teams, more often when Real Madrid plays away. To deflect allegations of racism people and some press and pundits in Spain have been saying that somehow Vinicius provokes this kind of behavior, shifting the focus of the conversation from racism to Vinicius character.

Some journalists asked similar questions to other rivals (players) in La Liga and found out that those players agreed that Vinicius provoked that kind of behaviour, I think the question to Klopp was to notice the difference between La Liga and the rest of the football world.
