THIS WEEK ON DNA.
WE MOVE ON FROM ONE FREE CAMP TO ANOTHER.
AFTER WAKING UP TO SEE THE CAMP HAD FILLED TO 14 CAMPERS.
AFTER I GET PUSHED OUTSIDE TO BRUSH MY TEETH WHILE NIK NEEDS THE BATHROOM. (LOOKS LIKE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE)
WE TAKE A DRIVE INTO JURIEN BAY WA.
TAKE YOU THROUGH THE TOWN AND SEE WHAT HAS TO OFFER.
NIK GOES TO THE BAKERY FOR MORE DONUTS AND A PASTIE FOR ME.
INDEE LOVES THE WALK-THROUGH TOWN EVEN ALONG THE JETTY ABOVE THE WATER.
WE HEAD OUT OF TOWN TO ANOTHER FREE CAMP.
THE FIRST ONE DIDN'T PROVIDE ENOUGH SUN FOR THE RECHARGING OUR BATTERIES.
SO, WE MOVED ONTO THE NEXT FREE CAMP JUST 5kms UP THE ROAD AND THIS WAS THE SPOT.
BIG OPEN SPACE - ON TOP OF A HILL - VIEWS FOR MILES - AND WE HAD IT ALL TO OURSELVES.
IT WAS SUPER QUIET AND JUST OFF THE ROAD IT WAS ON A BACK ROAD SO NO TRAFFIC - AFTER DARK.
THE SUNSET AND THE SUNRISE WAS AMAZING WORTH THE EARLY RISE.
AFTER WAITING FOR EVER FOR NIK TO GET READY I TAKE INDEE FOR HER MORNING WALK AND IT WAS SO GOOD THE CRISP AIR AND THE RISING SUN WAS UNREAL.
AFTER WHAT SEEMED AGES WAITING FOR NIK TO GET READY, I STARTED THE RAM AND STARTED PLAYING WITH A FEW BUTTONS I HAD NOTICED AND TO MY SURPRICE I FOUND A BONUS - WHOOP WHOOP.
WE DECIDE TO HEAD HOME DUE TO THE WEATHER CHANGES.
ON THE WAY HOME WE HAD TO SLAM ON THE BRAKES DUE TO IMPATIENT ROAD USERS DRIVING WITH OUT A CARE FOR THEM OR OTHERS.
AFTER GETTING HOME WE WASHED INDEE AND CLEANED UP THE VAN, NIK DONE THE WASHING.
WE HAD A PACKAGE IN THE MAIL FROM OUR APDOPTED GRANDSON IN KARRATHA - IT WAS MIGHTY DAVE MINION - HE WANTED US TO HAVE IT.

I lived in Jurien for 7 years. Loved the town. Yes the bakery is great, you gotta try their pies. ❤❤❤❤ You know the landing on the jetty where you were standing showing us your goodies you bought…..when the jetty was first built, you could jump off there and land in water. Friends of ours took videos of themselves doing somersaults there. Hard to believe you would now land in the sand.

Awesome video as always. That roast looked fantastic. Wow such beautiful driving and scenery, yes d$ckheads everywhere on the road. People think they are entitled to own a drivers licence and then drive entitled to own the road it is not how it works a drivers licence is a privilege to own. If all works out we should pick up our Ram this coming Thursday. Have you connected your safety Dave camera to the vehicle? You will be stocked with the ram. I have a hand held 2way now but will be installing a permanent one at some stage. The safety Dave I haven't done yet but I'm thinking I'll go with the screen that clips onto the rearview mirror seeing I'm going to need a camera for the rear of the canopy now. Hi Dave and Donuts How’s the rams fuel economy going towing the van ? We just back from VIC towing the beast and sucked a lot of diesel probably around 25. I think Iam going to need a bigger truck. Cheers Steve and Kaz

😆🤣😂 It's great 👍 without a head wind we are getting under 18 with a head wind we were closer to 20 The best fuel we have had ever while towing. But it's early days only towed for 500km I think once on the open road and not stopping and starting it should stay under 20 But hey it does cost more to buy an American truck that's a lot of fuel so make sure you do your homework. We had 2 days of at least 70km head winds I don’t want to say but well into the 30s and drove in sports 4 at 80 kph at 2000rpm That’s only way I could keep driving Car has good tune Exhaust and snorkel Cheers Steve & Kaz

I get ya That's why we swapped to a vehicle that is designed to tow more than a 4wd that can tow 3.5t it is effortless now. It is a compromise but seeing we tow more than we 4wd it was a no brainer. We tossed and turned on losing the 4wd of the Y62 but when it came down to it. We towed more than we hit hard tracks. But each to their own everyone needs to do what's best for their own situation. We didn't stay but I'll have a look for you. Wiki camps is saying someone stayed there 2 weeks ago and for 2 people with power it was $39 pn But it looks like that wasn't school holidays so prices will change depending on what time of year you visit.
