Talking about hi-tech nanotanks they are the icing on the cake as I say... you don't realize how difficult they are until you try them out, if in a large aquarium you can make mistakes, a small aquarium is less forgiving...I have kept a Betta in a low-tech nanotank for about 2 years now (it's my first aquarium that I made)
@JurijsJutjajevs4 күн бұрын
It’s true, small tanks are less forgiving, but on the other hand you can turn them around quickly

I have 2 tanks, one is 30cm and one is 60cm, the 30cm has almost no problems at all while the 60cm has problems whether it's algae, cloudy water and sometimes plants. 😊

It goes without question I want to see a full tour! Very beautiful scape. I love to watch tanks that exist longer than a few months, like the huge ADA tanks in Japan. 👍
@JurijsJutjajevs4 күн бұрын
It difficult for content creators to keep setups for long, as there is always need for new content and new builds. So it’s not always possible, but scapes like this one take longer to mature and are worth keeping for longer

I'm also starting to grow into the nano culture, thanks mainly to MD and a handfull of other channels, but in Australia , the plants are either expensive or extremely hard to get hold of for a nice landscape we see from overseas. But my small group of pygmy Corrie's in a red caridina shrimp vase tank has been doing well (As is my hillstream loaches in a non flow or airated rock scape

@JurijsJutjajevs3 күн бұрын
They definitely prefer a very little flow and are easily sucked into the filter intake, use shrimp guard mesh to prevent this from happening. Dedicated tank is best to keep them to make sure they feel safe and undisturbed

Question, how do you go about in keeping the moss under control? Mine grows like crazy and is messy when the time comes to cutting it back.
@JurijsJutjajevs2 күн бұрын
This is Riccardia Moss, it grows relatively slow - for trimming I would turn of the filter and allow all moss to settle on the substrate first, then I would syphon it out while performing a water change

Hallo Jurijs.
