Well if he is soon to be an Arsenal player, then I imagine those are the roles he is being bought for. An inverted RB to slot in next to (hopefully) Declan Rice when we are in possession. No way he is being bought as a CB. Saliva and Gabriel have those spots nailed down. I presume Ben Wight will now rotate at RB with Timber, and also with Saliba at RCB.

And the lesgue is becoming even more physical. I mean it's like a contest of gladiators. Every technical execution is done at break neck speeds. No wonder even the best players avoid the premiership in preference for like la Liga. You line up our guys against city and it's like David vs Goliath just in physical stature alone. We need to get in some powerful defenders with potential and mold them into world class or create our own from the academy. Look at our invincibles they were not only the best in their position but most were like 5.11 and 6 plus...King Henry, Vieira captain magnificent, Pirez, ljunmberg, wiltord, Campbell, the ivorians, Kanu, the list goes on all those guys could hold their own when the it came down to slag out results. COYG...les go. We got this. This is the season we get back where we supposed be.

This is why you should never trust compilations. I’ve watched Ajax and all season, both he and the rest of the defence have been absolute shit. Maybe it’s because Bassey is so bad that it weakens him or maybe because he always had Martinez beside him that he looked better. But in general, this season was mediocre from him and seemed like he didn’t care - same with Alvarez who is pushing to leave still
