I ruptured my ACL playing football on the same day as Jurrien back in August and while I am only 1 month post op, it has been so motivating for me to see the progress and positivity that Jurrien has with his injury and recovery. Watching him return to the Arsenal side (hopefully this season) will definitely help my confidence returning from an incredibly physically and mentally challenging injury. All the best Jurrien! Timber is a brilliant all round defender. Can play full back and center back if needed. The fact he got injured is a shame, but this could actually be really beneficial for his career at Arsenal. Getting the chance to be involved in the whole culture of the club while recovering is massive for a new player! There is no pressure on him to perform, all he has to do is sit back and take it all in - knowing that he is developing a strong bond with the fans and players while recovering.
