@@christopher399Yeah we know. Seems to me the parents did everything they could to make this happen. What did they do to prevent it? They knew he had expressed he wanted to be violent. So you buy a gun and take him to a range. So what you said about easy to blame the parents is correct. It is easy to blame you when you are complicit.

@@charlottedrolet9000 My comment wasn't specifically about this case. By the sounds of it, they should be held accountable for some kind of neglect. (I don't think they should be held accountable for murder though. Just for not providing their child with the help they knew he needed, and that they put others at risk.) The problem, as I see it, is that the parents are blamed no matter what. Sometimes it's deserved, but sometimes it isn't.

They failed this guy, he wasn’t making up his mental health because even she admitted that he had no friends and his only one friend moved out of town. She was running around having extra marital affairs with different men than get her child the help he was crying out for! I hope she gets the full 50 years!!! She didn’t seem remorseful or showed any empathy for the 4 kids that her kid killed.

What are they talking about…these parents should absolutely be charged with involuntary murder charges. On the morning of the shooting, the mother sent a text to her boyfriend saying she had to go to her son’s school because she was worried he “was going to do something dumb. In that meeting the school recommended the parents take the child out of school and get immediate mental health assistance, but his parents declined and said they didn’t want to miss work. The mother knew her gun was missing at this time and said nothing. Just a few hours later the child used that gun to kill. The mother even sent text to her boss saying Please don't judge me for what my son did." “ I need my job” on the very same day of the shooting. Showing no concern about others Also this family owned horses, and owning horses isn’t cheap. So they had the money. However There are plenty of affordable mental health services available especially for children.

I'm SICK that this show does ZERO PREP!! The Crumbley trial has been analyzed and broken down all over the web. It's already been determined they HAD THE MONEY for mental health care and spent it on their guns and horse hobbies! Both parents had health insurance but didn't get any for their son! They lied to a gun shop about buying a gun for dad, when they really were buying it for their child and Mom took him out practicing at the range 3 days before the shooting!! That's BEFORE we even get into all the poor choices the parents and the school made the day of the shooting....Jennifer telling the school she couldn't take her son home for 'immediate' mental health help (after being caught drawing death all over assignments in class) because she 'had to get back to work' even though her Boss testified she could have left work or brought him in with her!! AND didnt even go back to work after, she spent the afternoon having her affair while the school was being shot up!! Just total negligence at parenting, but then you buy your troubled son a gun, help him learn to use it and then never lock it up!! They are guilty as hell!! 💯

Just because it's "Hip-hop" yall place such low standards on OUR shows/people! @@Landima096 The parents are always blamed, no matter what. The issue with that is that it suggests that the parents are the exclusive factor in a child's life, and nothing, neither genetics nor anything or anyone else in their environment, will play any role in their lives. It's only the parents. Bad parenting can cause harm. But great parenting + bad genetics can also be harmful. Or great parenting, but an abusive teacher and tons of bullying can also be harmful. But whenever something wrong happens, people act as if the parents have full control of what happens to their children.

I dont know how you can hear all that and not think she deserved to be charged. Tez left out that the dad bought the gun FOR the son. (It wasnt like it was the dads gun that the boy found) * When the school told the mom the boy was looking up bu11ets on his phone, she told him to "learn not to get caught" * Another occasion the boy drew images of d3ad people and guns with a note asking for help. After the school informed her of this, she still didnt do anything. She knew she was raising a white devil and was too lazy to do anything about it. Lack of money for counseling is not a good enough issue. If you have a child with problems this severe you need to sign them over to the state and have them institutionalized. As far as Im concerned, she is an accessory to his crimes.

You gotta remember that the legal system snuffed this one out, and I'm sure all CTG and Envy's concerns about the charges were brought up in court. They're not doing a simple Google search in trial to see if "they think it's the right charge".

Charla and Envy, just shut up. If it was your kid that got murdered you would feel different. Stop having opinion’s when you have zero knowledge of the case.

*edit* I swear Char and Dj Envy will say the most perfect things that I agree with and I think they're so smart... And then they say something that takes me back -_- . I swear I don't think they're that good when it comes to stuff to do with the law. Involuntary manslaughter is exactly what the ruling should.. if anything negligence on top of that. I get not being able to afford therapy is a thing but there are so many other things that could have been done in order to prevent that shooting- that day. There's a another case going on too with the parents suing the school board.. also if you don't believe your kid if they're expressing that to you like especially in this day of age that's not an excuse that's ridiculous it's negligence of you to not take that seriously regardless even if you're 99.999% sure your kid is joking what's the harm of being safe? OH AND maybe they weren't paying attention to the news when this happened but these parents tried to run away ! they left their kid and they were on run lol talk about loyalty ... There's so much more too I'm going to end up writing a novel. Anybody questioning the sentence should actually look up the whole thing and see what happened.

The Border bill is not for our border it's for other nations borders it's a bad deal and everyone should go and read it for themselves especially page 213. Why are they helping people from overseas and immigrants if they can't even help their own people here in the United States? What has a Democrats ever done for the black community and be honest with yourself

You guys have got to do research before you report on these stories on such a large platform. The mom sent texts to the son laughing saying not to get caught with a gun or drawing killing people in the school. The parents were outliers in school shooting situation. They bought him the gun for his birthday. And did everything a parent shouldn’t do. You guys must do your proper research before reporting on such a large platform

How does anyone here not see that the idea of accepting 5000 people illegally sounds crazy. Listen to how it sounds !! I’m gonna let 5000 break the law before I enforce it. All the right is saying is no number of law breAkers are accepted. !!!! Wtf they coming for our benefits. They are moving into OUR CITIES after OUR BENEFITS!!! Let’s wake up

When more parents take responsibility for their children's good and bad behaviour, less of these mass killings and things like bullying will happen. And please don't say they couldnt afford to get him help, its not cheap to get a therapist but guns were purchased.

@@annzeeg4217 I completely understand that part. I'm just referring to the reason they said she was guilty. Because she didn't give him the mental health help he deserved, but I'm sure they evaluated him for any issues. So what did they find out. I'm all for parents getting sentenced when the kid does something like this. But they said it was because they didn't get him help
