No wonder why the drydown of Beat Cafe is so similar to Costume National Homme, I thought Dominique Ropion was plagiarising his own work for a second there 😅. Their house is quite overpriced, but the concept is fun though!

As a lifelong Phillies fan, it's hard to do a congrats. But congrats. I've smelled all of Jusbox in Selfridges last year. You might think they are bad but I certainly did! They fell into a few camps: overly synthetic, overly simplistic or overly wrought with one ingredient sticking out in a way that made it off balanced. With this one, from memory, it had a lot of spices on top that made it pretty unappealing from a first sniff. Maybe some are wearable and get better on skin but nothing in that line made me want to try them longer than a sniff.

Thanks for the review. I just picked up 2 bottles from Jusbox: Use Abuse and No Rules. Use Abuse is a bright airy floral with spice and depth with cold incense. No Rules has a gnarly vinyl note reminiscent of the vinyl accord in Costume National’s Cyber Garden; both done my Antoine Lie. Didn’t think I would like or stick around for your long format video but I was drawn in, time flies when your having fun 🤩 I watched 2 today 😂

14 hour dream was an instant hell yeah for me. Beat Cafe, and Black Powder are dope as hell too. I want to try a sample of No Rules at some point.

Ramsey, you inspire me. I have a pretty good collection, and today I found in a FB group an unopened celophane sealed YSL M7 from 2000s, ordered! And I am thinking, maybe that is the time to start a channel. Otherwise what a waste would it be to open a YSL M7 in a loneliness. Also my grail is on its way - full The Night. Also having many oid oils, starting from Feel Oud and going to stuff like Ensar - Oud Extraordinaire

Ramsey, The dyptique bottle you showed is a great vanilla. I have a limited edition bottle from yrs back. Was able to get me the now *Andy Tauer sold out bottle of Nexin. I'm hearing it being in the same vain as Roja Dove *APEX. Saw Rich Mitch's impression of it & if it's creamy as he said it was Ill be content. Thanks for juse box review. A2

Never appreciated Jusbox that much, but this and another fragrance whose name I forget all the time(Powder something or Feather, can't remember), were enjoyable! Anoinle Lee is one of my favorite perfumers right now and he did a great job with this. However, it's not unique. I've smelled similar niche fragrances. Great use of Patchouli, Orris, and Black Pepper in this one, plus the Vanilla. Again, like Costume National, I like this, but I won't buy it. Might get a decant. Cheers, Ram! Should be goin to bed since I got class in the morning lol (I’m a student at UT Austin 🤘) but First off, I am a huge Rangers fan and I’m jealous that you lived so close to Arlington Stadium. I miss The Ballpark in Arlington dearly but GLF is a nice venue! I can’t believe Boch was able to get it done in one year as manager lol. Second, I love Eau Duelle EDP and I gotta get up to The Scent Room again to smell this one and others from the Jusbox line. I’ve owned and released two: Cheeky Smile and Microlove. Felt those two were BORING but the cheeky smile glow in the dark bottle is a nice party trick! I’m sure I’ll find something from the line I enjoy because the concept is cool!

Appreciate this Ramsey. I don't know why, but I've always found the Jusbox caps strangely satisfying. 😆 Probably because they're so easy to grab and remind me of the old vinyl days. A cylindrical bottle would've been nice though. You can tell I'm all about the ergonomics. 😄 At least until we have a spray machine next to the front door controlled by our resident AI with fragrances being purchased in capsules on the blockchain, mediated by bioauthentication and.......oop, getting ahead of myself there. 🤣 I mean...at least until we don't have to use our hands. Because they'll be busy with other things. Let fantasies commence.
