My brother would post this on his Facebook feed every so often. He passed away in July. For those of you that believe what we have here is all there is I will not belittle or ridicule you. I am glad I have hope and belief to see him again. When he posted this he would just say "It's time". It was my time to listen to this again today. Peace!

even though I left Christianity long ago this takes me back to my grandparents sweet belief and a time before reality hit, thanks.
@adamsmith4195
@adamsmith4195 7 жыл бұрын
Did you respect your grandparents? Do you think they had inferior abilities to you to grapple with reality? There are a lot of Christians out there that make it difficult to believe. But when you get past them and close to those whose lives who have been truly been immersed in the love of God, even through their difficult times, it will hopefully make you question yourself rather than them because they are full of the things everyone wants to be full of: kindness, peacefulness, self control, self-sacrificing love for others, lack of complaining, optimism, self-forgetfulness, etc. The reason most of us don't experience Him now, in 2017, is because we do not take the time or dedication to do so. We immerse ourselves in fun and technology in all our free time. And then we complain that our ancestors have lied to us, and that there is no One there. But why should we give up on what our ancestors claimed to have experienced?

@Michael Aplin True, friend. One author noted, when God creates, He begins with the word. He speaks of things before they exist. First the word, then the reality. [The Oracle, page 109] So here's the word proclaimed through Paul, "The God who made the world AND everything in it is the Lord [Possessor] of heaven AND earth AND does NOT live in temples built BY hands. AND He is NOT served BY human hands, as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives all men life AND breath AND everything else. From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; AND He determined the times set for them AND the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek Him AND perhaps reach out to Him AND find Him, though He is NOT far from each one of us. For in Him we live AND move AND have our being." "...In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has 'set a day' when He will judge the world with justice by the man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men BY raising Him from the dead.' When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, "We want to hear you again on this subject." --Acts of the Holy Spirit and Apostles, chapter 17 Hope this will all be recognized as reality for us all!

Awesome!.Zephaniah 3:14-15 Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! The Lord has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.

Loved it! Incredible power in those words and vocals! My 2 cents about the crowd: I'm paying really good money to hear the performer, not someone who has the urge to shout out in the beginning and middle of the song. Respect your performers and fellow fans by going CRAZY after they strum that last chord.

I don't see why people are upset with the crowd. When you are filled with the spirit (whatever spirit it may be) it has no where to go but out. Its actually a compliment, if the crowd was silent I would think they didnt like it...Heck I hoot when people say "I do" at a wedding because of the joy I feel for them getting hitched.

I don’t understand the criticism of the audience...just sounds like church to me. And even if some are intoxicated as some say, so what? Then all the better to know a song about Jesus excites them instead of most of the stuff they could be doing. The Avett Bros. are ministering Love.
