I really liked this book no the focus on not doing what the world approves. The idea of doing what is best for a child, not yourself. Some great and hard lessons here. I really dwelled in those sections and let them sink in. We are called to live life in obedience to God and for His glory alone, regardless of other’s opinions or our own comfort. A wonderful book. I cannot wait to see what else this series will bring us!

I loved this sweet enemies to lovers romance for Cormac and Brooklyn. Due to a misunderstanding in high school, Brooklyn hated Cormac. A friend of hers made Brooklyn part guardian for her daughter, Quinn, when she died. The friend's husband made Cormac the other guardian when he died. They both died and the maternal grandmother took care of Quinn until the lawyer could deliver Quinn to the care of Cormac and Brooklyn in Sweetwater, ND. After receiving their letters from the lawyer about their shared guardianship, Cormac and Brooklyn decided to get married and to ask the grandmother to move in with them since she needed care also. Did this marriage of convenience and expanding their family to include a daughter and a grandmother work? You will have to read the book to find out. I highly recommend this book as a clean, Christian romance. This is my voluntary and honest review. This audiobook is awesome.

Hi Linda! Thank you for asking, and yes, you're right! I explain it in a bit more detail in the description of this video, and in a post over on my Facebook page (fb.com/SayWithJay), but the short version is that there was a pretty big problem with the original video, and KZbin doesn't allow edits to videos once they're posted - the only option is to delete the original and try again. I apologize for any confusion and inconvenience!

@@SaywithJay no worries. Is it something I need to listen to again? I did not have any issues or anything that sounded skipped. Once I saw Jessie’s email about the title two things popped into my mind. One: I was not crazy looking at the title and Two maybe that was the reason for the new upload. After saving a couple of your narrations for a long car ride I was ALMOST disappointed that I have read so many of Jessie’s books. Is it faster to read, yes. Is it more enjoyable, heavens no. I now need to listen to the Blueberry Beach and Good Grief Idaho series. It was kind of disappointing that not all of the Baxter Boys were on KZbin. I had to resort to old school reading.

I've really been enjoying the audio books for more than a year now. But some of the theology is way off, like accepting cancer from God. That is utter, absolute nonsense. I highly recommend the sound biblical teaching of Charis Bible College entitled "God wants you well".

I was just using it in fun, since TikTok seems to be the place where things are currently going viral. I didn't mean to promote it, just show it in a neutral, comedic light.
