I really enjoyed this book. I knew from the moment we met Eliza and heard about her that I would be anxiously awaiting her book. I’m glad I didn’t have to wait too long! I love beauty and the beast retellings and I love the rescuer/protector hero angle, so, this book checked all the boxes. We got to see the loveable Sweet Water Matchmaking Cow and he was definitely up to some antics. I love getting glimpses of Ellen and Travis and my heart aches a bit following June through her trials. I love looking for those extra bonus chapters. This book definitely had some unexpected items pop up. I’m so looking forward to where this series takes us!

Please tell me the meaning of these pop up stories…thank you ‼️👍🏻
@ReadingInThe.Heartland Жыл бұрын
@@mountaingirl1797 the “pop ups” terminology was used to avoid spoilers. We do get glimpses of Ellen/Travis throughout this series (their book releases in January). We also get glimpses at June and her story throughout this series. They are chapters added in that don’t necessarily contribute to the current book so much as give us an additional storyline to gradually follow throughout the series.

I think this story has had the most amazing insights from the bible and there are so many lessons to learn in it. Thanks so much Jessie for the truly great story and lessons and Jay thanks for the awesome narration. Jay it must be hard to stay humble when you pop up in the books as the amazing narrator with a cougar taking up residence outside. Good luck with that. 😉

I loved this romance that delevoped between Eliza and Hines. Eliza volunteered to help Hines who is the town's recluse and had a broken leg and a broken arm. Hines had a scarred face and body after saving Eliza when she was a teenager during a fire at her school. She was trapped under a fallen beam and would have died if Hines who was a firefighter hadn't saved her. Eliza was mainly buned on her legs so she could hide her scars, but with her help she was able to help Hines accept how he looked and was willing to go out in public. The ending was the best part of this book. This narration brings the story to life and makes it more soecial.

Yay! Jessie and Jay have another great story for us. Enjoyed listening to Jay performing Hines and Eliza's story. Loved the way Eliza is able to help Hines to overcome his bitterness and guide him in being accepting of his situation. The ending is a bittersweet as well as a surprise. Jay made the story come alive as only he seems to be able to do with his narration. I really appreciate all of Jessie and Jay's hard work.

Someone please explain the little tidbits of another interjected story:.. I don’t understand… thank you 😁👍🏻
@SaywithJay Жыл бұрын
Hi Mountaingirl - I'd be glad to! Jessie's stories will often have story arcs that carry over from book to book within a series - like, for example, June's or Travis and Ellen's stories in the Flyboys series. Sometimes those side stories will become their own books within a series, or even in a later series! It can be a little confusing, especially if you tend to read a series out of order. Hope that helps!
