Janess…..here is a fabulous item to put in stews, soups, loafs, casseroles; GREEN APPLES!!! I chop and sautee in OO or butter. The heat will mellow the sugar so u have that sweet/savory. No red apples, they get mushy, greens have a good shelf. And people will ask….WHAT KIND OF VEGGIE IS THATTT? They are delicious with this side I prepare of carmelized onions and a green apple.

The ocean, ponds, rivers & so on are full of all kinds of things that could harm us, & they're sometimes almost opaque, but people pay lots of money to go to beaches & frolic in fish water. This is almost certainly less dangerous and way cleaner, but I wouldn't suggest drinking from a pool or a natural water environment.
