Parents would always reset the trip after filling up. I don't think mom does anymore though. I used to until I got my Crown Vic, it has a loose solder connection on the circuit board, which dims the digital odometer display. It's so dim, I can only see it when its really dark. Since I can't usually see it, I stopped. Dad would go even farther; he'd have a little note pad and log the date, miles, gallons and price of each fill up as well. He would also log any needed services, repairs, oil, tire, and battery changes. He'd always say that's the best way for early indications of any problems. Like losing miles of gas to the gallon. If your car is eating more gas, something's up.

Not sure if you remember, but I always did that as well. I got it from my Dad... Angie pointed out that it was a waste of time. And you know..... She's right. LOL. So I stopped doing it.

The new Krispy Kreme Holiday donuts are almost here. I think it is 29 of November. Grinch ones. There is also something that is called "Day of Dozens." A dozen donuts is a 1 dollar on the 12 of December. But I don't know if you will get donuts that day - I know that town loves donuts.
