I struggled with addiction, and during my recovery listening to these videos really helped me. I’m now 2.5 yrs sober, and loving them more ❤

Thank you sharing these episodes as they came in handy on a work-related 3 hour drive. No commercialruptus.

I had to google Simnel cake "Simnel cake is a fruitcake widely eaten in the United Kingdom, Ireland and other countries with patterns of migration from them, associated with Lent and Easter. It is distinguished by layers of almond paste or marzipan, typically one in the middle and one on top, and a set of eleven balls made of the same paste."

Not widely eaten expensive and horrible with traumatic episodes induced by the flavour similarity to the nightmare day that costs a fortune your wedding

Agree with you. The BBC don't put much out because of copyright, and what they do is pretty expensive.

British celebrities have this cozy ready-made system of shows to be on. They don't have to create their own careers like American celebrities.

See I always thought it would be good to do the topic of deviation which might be funny. Also I would love to see them so the alphabet and someone just recites it and someone calls them out on w having the word u in
@rbbonotto Жыл бұрын
I think they did do the topic of deviation, in the days when Derek Nimmo and Clement Freud were on.
@20so10 ай бұрын
There’s also definitely an episode where someone did the alphabet thing a few years ago 😁 Sadly I can’t remember which season or person it was, but I’m very certain this was done at least once!

I find both Tim Rice and Esther Rantzen unbearably arrogant and dismissive. They make me appreciate Gyles more; at least he's funny and a fount of information.

Last week Julian Clary performed remarkably well taking about snakes and ladders . His subject was Liz truss the rest is self explanatory or as Sinatra would say up in April shot down in May..
