I heard from another comment that if you enter FREE-4-ME in Botplay then it has different dialog and doesn't have the reveal into Obituary which I find to be incredibly cool. There also is nothing on 2011X in the files when you look there but the normal Sonic stuff.

something i really like is this mod makes it VERY apparent that sonic isn't...well...sonic. for example, his pose is LITERALLY the most well known pose for exe when he's pretending to be sonic. first one is less noticeable, but he's still facing away, that and his eye looks slightly off. and during his second song, in his vocals you can very faintly hear a much darker voice. and the lyrics in general. he's quite literally warning you he's about to attack you and he's warning you to either run away, or fight him.

Here some fun fact about this demo: When you download the mod you won't be able to find any files getting a hint of it being a EXE mod, all the files will look totally normal for a normal Sonic game Once you beat the mod and restart it, the menu will be different If you beat the second song with botplay, you will get a different ending If you ignore and do nothing at the shop, the dude will say stuff Lord X creator himself is one of the director for this mod and many original EXE members work in this mod too

If you didn’t know, if you actually knew Sonic’s design, his eyelids aren’t the same as his arms or stomach, they’re blue. Which shows that this actually ISNT modern sonic. This gives a really huge giveaway to this not being the real sonic.😂

No, this is not true, in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, his eyelids are tan. So, this must take place in Adventure. But, if it doesn't, then you're *technically* correct (I say "technically because Sonic's design has changed from tan eyelids to blue before, and yes I did suspect that this was EXE from the pose, lyrics, eyelids, and the title.

I always love mods that use 2011 X. For me, he IS Sonic.EXE. Excellent choice for the reimagining of the original mod. I wish the devs well with this project. Hopefully they will make it through this time.

My opinion on the mod and some things that aren't appreciated much; I love the subtle hints, ex. T on the title being capitalized; Roden-Trap and not Rodent-Rap/rap. second, The finger waggling pose, yeah sure It's originated from old sonic but in current era It's more known for being exe's signature pose, especially bc the pose rarely appears in modern official sonic media for some reason. His eyes are also divided instead of being connected just like faker or 2017x, with bent pupils which looks intended because it's in both songs + in angles that weren't necessary to bend them. Him looking away from bf is another common trope on fake form of exes in fnf exe modes, It's enough to fool you at beginning but not hidden enough to realise the hints when replaying. Gets you wondering but not completely thinking it's fake out because hints not as being as obvious, questioned myself if It's true or I'm just overthinking the hints. It's good at disengaging especially on the end of free-4-me, when the cutscene started I thought It was a normal fnf mode because there was like 8second left for fakeout and at that point normal fakeouts in fnf will often increase the timer which made me think it was normal sonic mode until he said just one question at the end of the cutscene Sonic in this mode appears more threatening because he don't seem concerned and seem to be maniacal rather than being transparent because understanding a god's thoughts makes them less godlike, you shouldn't even comprehend in same level and godlike beings, but that makes them appear like hot tempered beast. Also love how his chromatic is closer to Sonic.exe form rather than xenophane or lord Xs compared to other sonic.exe modes regardless of the character Extra but him looking at the screen before calling the player out and how the game page itself tricks the players instead of advertising it as exe mode
