I wish we could always be building cool hot rods in the shop all the time but that is just not the case. So here is a taste of some of the other work we do!

It's a good thing to have side work to fund the builds. I like seeing the real side of the Utube business.

I love when you say, “we are going to step out of the norm,” as you stand in front of that maniacal clown mural. LOL Not a car build, but still cool!!!

I very much enjoyed this video. I'd like to see the finished product after it has been installed at night with the lights on. I'd like to see more of the rust repair on that 80 to 86 Ford truck bed as well. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I'll see if I can get a picture of the sign when it is up. I have no idea when that will be since I am not doing that work. As for the rust repair, it is now all done, and we are just looking at hours and hours of sanding to smooth the rest of the truck out.

My favorite videos are your metal fab. I would like to see you do a roll cage like you did with the ATV you built. May not be for everyone but how you layout and bend round tube is so interesting. Especially the layout and how you figure where to bend and fit the pieces together. I helped build quite a few hobby/ street stocks and drove many years ago but we bent crap on or around anything we had access to. We were knucleheads back then but thats how we taught ourselves. Im a geezer now but sure enjoy fab videos.Continued success and I enjoy the Rust Life channel too.

Thanks Hank! I've tried to do some tube bending videos and it is hard for me. I mostly just eyeball it and I don't have any fancy tricks or tools really. So on video it looks like I'm not really telling the truth about how to do it. At least that's the way it seems to me. That was a while back maybe I can do better now at explaining. I'll give it a shot again one of these days.

I sure understand and respect that. I would imagine that would be quite tough to explain how to do it and and show how its laid out after your above answer, you just know and from past experience. You just kind of figure it out.@@HardCoreFab

Hey Anthony, Nice for you to have a plasma table that big to do large projects. My pop rivet tool is like the first rivnut tool you showed, it requires some serious finger strength when you do large or metal rivets. I have seen a few videos where guys used the "Unnamed" style tool, they seem to be awkward to use. I have a Rivnut tool that uses a common 3/8" drive ratchet and works like a champ with minimal strength required to pull even a steel nut for up to a 3/8" bolt.

Great video as for me i like seeing what it takes to keep a shop going when between videos. i have thought about getting a plazma table and try cutting for people haven't checked around yet to see how many they are in the area

If you can make it work in your area I say go for it. There is a bit of a learning curve but it will change the way you build almost everything in the shop.
