Yeah, I read that the location of the market doesn't matter as long as it is getting filled. That's a good idea.

Yeah, you know, I think I watched enough tutorials, at this point I don't care if my town is as efficient as possible, as long as I have a basic understanding of the game mechanics. Some tutorials get even corrected after one or two days, which is good, but I don't think I want to get into a race to keep up with that. I'm just going to build what I like and have a nice relaxing experience, I don't care if I placed something "wrong", I want it to look and feel organic. One thing that I did though, just to try it out, I made a second market just for firewood, moved all the firewood stalls in there and built a second storehouse next to that market, which only stores firewood and turned off firewood in the first storehouse (under "advanced"). It doesn't really matter much where that second market is, only matters if the stalls get filled fast. Of course for that you need enough people to staff the storehouses, so a lot of your burgers will become logistics workers. You can move single stalls just like any other building that is movable. If things don't get picked up, like the hides, the hunter won't transport the hides, it's up to the next one in the chain to pick up the hides/whatever has been produced, so the tanner or a storehouse worker, maybe you need someone else in the storehouse, there is only one family working right now.
