Like if she wears makeup to please someone else or compare to someone else, that’s unoriginal. But you can do things for yourself because you want to do it and that’s totally a different story! By living original she meant not doing things just because someone else does, and to not live for others but live for the Father. And this video was a blessing to many people, including myself:)

In world where young women are brainwashed my anorexic models with airbrush makeup and photo-shopped curves, you got on KZbin without makeup, openly discussed your weight and encouraged others that true beauty lies in authenticity? That's not how modeling works... If a model is anorexic, it is taken very seriously. Companies don't want to be known for having unhealthy models. They are skinny, not anorexic. Like Sadie is skinny and does modeling, but you wouldn't call her anorexic. Also companies don't hire models just so they can photoshop them to perfection. They find the perfect model so they can do as little touch ups as possible because editing in the modeling world is expensive. They find girls who are healthy, skinny, and curvy, add some well done makeup and edit out the pores on their skin and some hair. That's all.

But now, i cannot thank you enough. 7 minutes ago, i had a completely different mindset than i do right now. My old mind set, was not a positive one. So, I'm sitting in my room crying right now over this video because, I, for the first time, saw you as a person. As somebody like ME. I love this video so much and I think Sadie is one of the most beautiful girls out there, inside and out. I read this quote once that changed my view on a lot of things in my life about my appearance (I struggle with weight). It said "Stop complaining about the things you can change" I just wanted to add that if your unhappy with your weight, then try to change it. That's what I'm doing. And I also have another really good quote that says "You won't get different results by doing the same thing" so if your wanting to lose weight, it's not just going to happen. You have to work for it and change how you live your life (diet and exercise speaking). I just wanted to share this. I hope it helped someone. :)

I've spent a lot of time trying to put my worth in how others think of me, my grades, and sports but eventually there's always someone who doesn't like me, I mess up on a test, or I miss a shot and I was left feeling worthless and unwanted. But when I finally decided to give Jesus a try he showed me that I'm only content when I put my worth in him and see myself how he sees me. ***** roy horst I think you're both incorrectly assuming that the pressure girls feel is only to impress guys. That's not true about the thigh gap, especially since a LOT of guys say what you two do. The thigh gap is more of a symbol of dedication - "I wanted to be thin and this is proof I succeeded." Or, for girls with eating disorders, it can be a status symbol that they're thin enough to have a "real" problem. No one would care about thigh gaps if it was just about attracting guys. I think it's way more complicated than that. :)

Right!?!?! Thigh gap is 90% physiological...if you don't have the right bone structure, it isn't going to happen no matter how much dieting and excercising one does! !!
