@@unoriginalname4426 yeah but alot of people buy games for the story and just cause 1/2/3 all had solid stories aswell as being a really great sandbox. but i agree the game is a sandbox, i never completed any of the games stories and most people should atleast give just cause 4 a try i feel like lots of people seen the reviews saying downgraded graphics and never bought the game to be fair just cause 3 ran like shit, everyone knows this, you get into a big base and frames drop hardcore if you're not using some serious hardware. the ps4/xbox 1 were disasters. pretty sure they wouldn't want that again, so it seems like they dropped the graphic in some areas like the water. sure it looks alot worse but im not sure why people made such a big deal out of it, acting as if this is like subnautica where the water is 99% of the game some cutscene characters are kinda low res for some reason but again such a small thing people literally dismissed this game because of the graphics. saying it's a bad game because of the graphics? lmao. people are messed up .

The height limit had a fun thing in Just Cause 3... you could tether yourself to the back of a train with your parachute out, and sort of balance yourself so as to gradually gain more and more and more and more height until you'd hit the height limit and got stuck there.

What is the basic gameplay loop? I’m really not sure whether to get this or not. Edit: I got it and... it’s kinda shit. It’s the only just cause game that I’ve never felt like I needed to blow something up. The missions so far a boring shit and the game is only fun when it breaks which to be honest is all the time so, I just contradicted myself. If I could describe the game in one sound it would be, “eh” and then I crawl into a ball and rock back and forth.

mcdhonalz don't play it like a structured game, because your right that the missions suck. Play it like its just a fun sandbox of destruction because that's the best part. I just go around and do crazy shit and stunts and it's amazingly fun. I made a spider web of cars with the grapple hook then pulled them all together into a huge explosion. Just do shit like that and you'll be happy. Also traversing the map for me is fun for some reason.

Nathan Sullivan I’m enjoying it a little bit but I’ve got some ideas that avalanche should implement in future updates but they won’t because the game isn’t a complete flop like no mans sky. I’ve been thinking that the frontline battles should be more hectic. There should be heli’s and planes battling it out above, warships bombing the things on land and boats gunning for each other, soldiers and rebels duking it out in the “no mans land” kinda area in between the AA guns and cannons. Basically I want the frontlines to be like battlefield matches.

mcdhonalz I mean honestly when I go to a battlefield I've noticed everything you said you wanted. There's always dogfights in the sky and explosions left and right and overall destruction that makes me giddy with joy. And by the way the longer you stay in the front lines the more hectic they get because the black hand sends more things after you. I only survive for like 10 minutes in them. But the only thing missing in my opinion is screaming and shouting etc, as it seems like the battlefield is really quiet without screams of agony and shouted commands. My biggest problem with the front lines is that there is no reason to actually go to them or fight in them. The only thing it provides you is some chaos meter, but it is more efficient just to blow up bases, so for me there isn't enough incentive to join those epic battles. But I also get what you mean, because battlefield games are almost cinematic in the way they handle chaos. Another thing I don't get is why everyone hates the graphics. I think it's damn beautiful to be honest, except for the water of course.

Nathan Sullivan the game looks fine, it’s just the water looks like it hasn’t been rendered up close and also the visual glitches can get distracting, shadows and lighting popping in and jittering, it’s mostly just pop in. The skybox changes when you go to another biome but it just pops in. I’ve also seen shitty textures like the train tracks and these dirt roads in the monster truck dome.
