Just Dance: Summer Party Review (Wii)

In Europe, the game's called Just Dance 2: Extra Songs, which is more honest advertising. But here's the thing: this collection's missing some of the DLC songs. Not only that, they're missing good ones, like Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual" and Dexys Midnight Runners' "Come On Eileen". That's INEXCUSABLE.

There's something about the Just Dance Summer Party Box art... You can clearly see the "Should I Stay or Should I Go" dance choreographer on the front of the box even though the song is not in the game! What a huge tease!

I'd love to know if the sale price for this is higher or lower than the combined total for all of the downloadable songs in the original. Would it be more cost-effective to buy all the different songs, or the one game? (And just based on Wii 'point' values to dollars, not including any taxes applied to the cards)

yeah it is downloadable content, but its for the people who don't have/get internet/wifi and want the dlc of just dance 2 but just cant get them or for people to just try out what the game is like for a little cheaper price and buy the others (1, 2, 3) if they do/did like it

This should of been called: "Just Dance: Music Mix" because it's a mix of different music genres. I was looking forward to this game and then I was thinking, "Huh?!?" Nice job, Wiiviewr and LilWiiviewr!!! :D P.S. Your kids need to be in more reviews, because I like other people's opinions!!! :D

that's why it's other name is Just Dance 2: Extra Songs -_- + It's called summer party because it was released in the summer + They didn't get Just Dance by Lady Gaga at the time because even if they want to cover it, they have to get permission from Lady Gaga who was working with Dance Central at the time.

I think they put the tittle as "Summer Party" because it would be a game that people would play for a "Summer Party" (Duh) but I kinda agree that they should have done summer songs.

I don't agree that downloadable content is stuff that's not good enough to be in the main release. Sometimes, it's just stuff they didn't have the rights for, or didn't think to add in, etc. I don't know what there is for songs for these games, but I know the guitar based games had a TON of awesome songs for download. But I've still yet to try any of these games (no room to dance really). I might have to, you seem to like them alot, and I do take your reviews into consideration a lot.

This is an 11 year old video with no thinking about the rest of the world. the EU actually changed the name so it made a bit more sense. The European name was Just Dance 2: Extra Songs. Not to far off from what you thought it should have been called

I have say I disagree with your statement that all downloadable songs are not good enough for the main release. In the case of other music games like Rock Band, the dlc songs are great for those who are interested. I feel it's impossible to provide a list of songs that everyone is going to be in love with, so they try there best and provide for an additional fee other songs that people might enjoy. Now I do agree compilation disc for music based dlc is kinda of a lame thing.
