I listened to this, on the way home from Sunday morning grocery shopping in my wife’s forester. I went home, opened my garage and stared at my Silvia and just smiled. Cars bring us all so much joy, and emotions that will not be around when everything is silent and boring. Amazing quality as always guys. Massive fan from Australia. 👍

I'm quite hopeful that the electric car revolution will actually preserve ICE enthusiast cars. The quicker electric cars are able to NATURALLY sway consumers to mass adoption, it will go further to prevent wholesale bans on ICE vehicles and fuels. The vast majority of miles and gallons burned are from regular commuting and commercial activities. Get those miles to be electric and sustainable and there may never arise a need to regular ICE to extinction. Hopefully worst case ICE falls into a pure enthusiast bucket and synthetic fuels are able to meet demand, best case Gasoline is still allowed for classic and special license vehicles (like new sports cars paying a gas tax or something) In addition I'd imagine long-haul road freight will need ICE engines as well at least for a Hybrid drivetrain for many many years. If instead people don't adopt electric cars and the climate continues to go haywire I could see a world where ICE is banned wholesale for any new vehicle and fuel taxed to oblivion. the next 25 years will be a paradigm shift regardless of current political spectrum beliefs.

I’m lucky enemies to live close to native Americans reservation where gas is a lot more cheaper than other areas (4.79 a gallon) and people close to the border with Mexico crosse the border to fill up gas in Mexico and come back. 1.1 US dollars per liter in Mexico which it would be like 3.70 or 3.80 a gallon

its a neat idea BUT its a legal issue since someone can come after the people and video for " speeding" since you can tell how fast the car is going by the gears and revs. most peoples top of 2nd or 3rd is already speeding ( depends if its hwy or reg road).

I agree with you, my favorite Vette is the C6 Grand Sport. The C6 ZL1 is peak Vette though to me. The C7 is really REALLY good but the looks of the C6 do it for me. The C8 is a very good car but without the manual I don't get as excited being in it, the convertible C8 is the first Vette I'd ever thought I might prefer a convertible.
