Nothing more beautiful than pure friendship. For me it was a brother from another mother, and his is still occasionally in my mind, but always in my heart. Sometimes I fear that with sex, sexuality and gender coming to the forefront of our social consciousness we forget that platonic bonds of friendship can be as strong as any other. If friendship ever blossoms into something else, or If more is wanted/desired from one side is another discussion entirely, with its own joy laughter, and possible pain. Thank you for this song, an ode to joy, and maybe a type of innocence.
