The career mode is broken in Just Go. It keeps matching you with stronger AI opponents the more games you play regardless of your win rate. At some point, you are bound to lose 100% of your games. Choosing the "play against computer" option at least allows you to control the strength of your AI opponent for each game. At move 7 in the first game, why not solidly connect? You claimed that corner for yourself when you played a 2-4 point. And then, when challenged with a hane, your one point jump essentially forfeited the corner. Connecting, instead, would give you the upper hand in the ensuing battle. In the second game, after move number 7 you have three stones in the lower right corner and White only has one. You can take sente and play a big move elsewhere. You don't need to play an inefficient move in the upper left just to establish a ladder breaker. It's not worthwhile to come back with a fourth and then a fifth move in the lower right just to capture one unimportant stone, even assuming Black lets you do it and doesn't find a later opportunity to play a counter-ladder breaker before the capture. But, in any case, kudos for accepting challenges from 6 dan AI opponents 😉

LOL thanks :D yea its really unfair that they demolish you in the second tournament you are doing in career mode. I honestly don't remember why I played those moves. I was probably mentally exhausted as during the time of this recording, I was probably about 4 hours into recording Go games. Very mentally drained as it was back to back games for 4 hours straight lol

Compared to masters of the game, we are all dust lol but it is motivational to what we might be able to achieve with practice and persistence :D
